Driving out of the yard at work this morning i looked and saw a Mk 1 Gal parked there. Thats the same colour as the one i had years ago (about 7 years ago) i thought to myself Looked at the number plate and thought hang on that is the one i owned years ago A p reg V6 Ghia. Looks a bit rough around the edges now with a few dent here and there. Turns out it belongs to one of our south west regional managers. Didnt get the chance to speak to him to see if its been any good or not. If i remember correctly the AC wasnt working back then. Its a small world.

Today i booked the Ally in for a belt change. The cars only done 30k but is now 4 years old. Im sure it would go for a long time yet but what if it didnt. Been quoted

I dont think i would want to maintain it myself either

Jusp pinched this off another forum. Most people know this anyway but just incase. Just had notice from my Skoda dealer that VW are recommending that all cars have their cam belts replaced at 4 years regardless of mileage VW group (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda) cars normally have their cambelts changed on a mileage basis but this notice specifically says regardless of mileage and ALL cars once they get to 4 years old MUST have the belt changed

Without a doubt Re living my younger days when i used to have one. Promised myself i will have another one day when the funds allow. Trouble is good ones are getting thin on the ground, most have been up a lampost or into Dixons front window.

This was originally shown on BBC TV back in the seventies. Ronnie Barker could say all this without a snigger (though goodness knows how many takes). Irony is that they received not one complaint. The speed of delivery must have been too much for the whining herds. Try getting through it without converting the spoonerisms [and not wetting your pants] as you read ... -------------------------------------------------------- This is the story of Rindercella and her sugly isters. Rindercella and her sugly isters lived in a marge lansion. Rindercella worked very hard frubbing sloors, emptying poss pits, and shivelling shot. At the end of the day, she was knucking fackered. The sugly isters were right bugly astards. One was called Mary Hinge, and the other was called Betty Swallocks; they were really forrible huckers;they had fetty sweet and fetty swannies. The sugly isters had tickets to go to the ball, but the cotton runts would not let Rindercella go. Suddenly there was a bucking fang, and her gairy fodmother appeared. Her name was Shairy Hithole and she was a light rucking fesbian. She turned a pumpkin and six mite wice into a hucking cuge farriage with six dandy ronkeys who had buge hollocks and dig bicks. The gairy fodmother told Rindercella to be back by dimnlight otherwise, there would be a cucking falamity. At the ball, Rindercella was dancing with the prandsome hince when suddenly the clock struck twelve. "Mist all chucking frighty!!!" said Rindercella, and she ran out tripping barse over ollocks, so dropping her slass glipper. The very next day the prandsome hince knocked on Rindercella's door and the sugly isters let him in. Suddenly, Betty Swallocks lifted her leg and let off a fig bart. "Who's fust jarted??" asked the prandsome hince. "Blame that fugly ucker over there!!" said Mary Hinge. When the stinking brown cloud had lifted, he tried the slass glipper on both the sugly isters without success and their feet stucking funk. Betty Swallocks was ducking fisgusted and gave the prandsome hince a knack in the kickers. (This was not difficult as he had bucking fuge halls and a hig bard on). He tried the slass glipper on Rindercella and it fitted pucking ferfectly. Rindercella and the prandsome hince were married. The pransome hince lived his life in lucking fuxury, and Rindercella lived hers with a follen swanny.

Which Speakers Would You Recomend ?
adrianf. replied to adrianf.'s topic in I.C.E (In Car Entertainment) Discussion
I find it hard to believe you wouldnt notice much diference, after all OE speakers are well known for being pretty poor. I dont want (or rather she doesnt want) to go to the expense of changing head units etc so i think ill go down the speaker route for now and see what happens. Adrian. -
I think the orange looks crap. On a Focus ST maybe but not a bus

Have you ever noticed that when they predict a disaster on the news or weather it never comes to anything. Dont get me wrong im glad it didnt, but the only time we seem to get a disaster is when they didnt have a bloody clue it was coming.

Ive never been in a position to buy a new car and reading all the posts here im not sure i would want to either. Just wondering, if you put a part ex car in against a new Gal and they take six months to bolt it together do they still offer you the same price on the part ex car they offered six months ago ? Just a thought. I saw a second hand (56 reg) TDCI with 1200 miles for sale on Auto trader for i think it was
