  2. Yup, they should have held the steering wheel in the straight ahead position whilst adjusting the arms.
  3. Did anyone watch Gordon Ramseys F Word last night. The sheep bit made me fancy a cheese sandwich for some reason. Bloody good program tho.
  4. We dont want to know about your red lumps madam
  5. I had a Ghia with the same v6 motor in and it was fantastic. The smoothest engine ive ever had. MPG was always mid 20 - 30. I would buy one again tommorrow with no worries at all.
  6. If you can i would go for the detachable towbar then you have no worries about the reversing sensors being a pain. I had an ordinary type and whilst the sensors were a pain to start with i managed to get around it but the detachable just looks neater in my opinion but obviously costs more.
  7. Go for it, I was brought up with caravans as mum & dad have always had caravans so i bought my first one at the grand old age of 29. I dont know what it is about caravaning but it is just so relaxing and my two kids love it also. Like everything the reversing will come with practice, just remember to start the turn with opposite lock and then slowly take it off as the van goes round. Ive just sold my Galaxy this weekend but it was a fab towcar with a lightweight twin axle on the back it would keep up with the flow of traffic no problem. Just this weekend i followed an outfit down the M5 doing 75mph and was very stable. Ok it was breaking the speed limit but it just shows what a well matched outfit will tow like. One thing to remember is that if you are buying from a dealer you will need a few more bits which probably wont be included, Water carriers and waste containers, Electric hook up cable and a leisure battery to name but a few. If buying private double check for damp areas. The front corners under the beds can be a common area as well as in the shower area and even on the back end. We tend to go to the bigger sites with kids entertainment etc to keep them happy. The cost does vary a bit but is more expensive during the school holidays but we tend to pay
  8. For anyone in the south west area i see there is a company called Infinity or something like that in the Bristol area that will tint the rear half of MPV and 4X4 for
  9. Well thats it the dirty deal has been done, she went today. Very sad to see her go as she has been so reliable but time to move on. Last trip was a very steady 100 mile trip up the motorway so as not to run out of derv and returned 49 mpg. Very happy with the Shogun up to now so will have to see how it goes.
  10. The ones from the 18" Mondeo wheels should fit ok but the Focus ones wont. The ones fitted the the likes of the Focus ST170 are flatter IIRC.
  11. mmmmm :P No comment  Sod it only young once :P
  12. Yeh theres toooo much under my matress i cant sleep at night (NOT)
  13. Shogun 3.2 Diesel. Its very nice with full leather & auto box etc but its going to want a bit  more diesel than the Gal eh
  14. Well i have no idea if im doing the right thing or not but i put the old girl in part ex today. Ive had her about 17 months and apart from an alternator pulley and a belt tensioner she has been 100% faultless. Im not even 100% sure if i want her to go but i seem to have talked myself into it somehow. Im sure once i get the new car ill be pleased i did. No doubt ill still be poking my nose in on here quite a bit as the information i picked up on here might come in usefull for some poor sod with problems. Id like to say a huge thanks to many people on here for their help on some questions ive had whilst owning the Gal. Adrian.
  15. Of course there is BEER :)

On the subjct of the NHS you are spot on. 2 yaers ago my dad was rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack but turned out to be an Aorta disection. So we are told 93% of people die from this but luck and a top class surgeon at the Bristol Royal Infirmary save him after 8 hours on the operating table. Yes the NHS has its problems like everything in life but thanks to them dad is still here and i cant praise then enough Like you say you only get to hear the bad things on the TV and in the press.
  18. Oohh i love it when you get angry.
  19. Well said Mum. So bloody what if 30/40/50/60 or 100 mpg, it does what it does and if its not enough then but an electric car. These buses are not built for economy and if thats all what matters then sorry you have bought the wrong car. My economy is simple When its empty i fill it up. My computer is often in the low 30 s but hey ho there more important things in life. Good idea to shut this one Maz as its been covered a million times. Moan over
  20. No your right they probably wont ban it, just make it a condition that when the fag is finished you MUST stub it out in one of your eyes. Dont think they will need to ban it then eh
  21. I wouldnt worry too much about the ashtray, its only a matter of time before smoking is banned whilst driving like with mobiles. AND A BLOODY GOOD JOB
