on my 2.3 Ghia (7 st) the logbook doesnt say anything at "S.1 Number of seats including driver" If my 6 seat Ghia X is any different, I will let you know.. although I doubt it.

you can set it not to delete the mails after downloading from the server, so you'll still have webmail access. Its an interesting and powerful mail client, its mostly intuitive. (I only use it for work.. its a lumbering oaf for personal use, imo)

for the mk1: last time I checked, parkers put the topspeed at 120 odd.. (around the same as the 2.3... less even iirc) I cant see how it would get there tbh..whining and moaning at 110..

tbh I would be tempted to report him directly... although, what good would it do ? realistically I cant imagine the police would do anything... and the problem with "nutters" is that they dont actually care.. self preservation is not in the psyche. it looks real good.. sorry to be critical but could you maybe get the indicator lenses the same colour as the headlights ? I dunno would clear lenses do it ?

I think it is the water level sensor. however on my v6, when it came on, even whenthe water level was fine...it was cause of the head gasket.... have a look at the composition of your water.
