Tesco's car park with a tape measure would seem the easiest option. Wouldn't want to give the measurements from mine in case they are not spot on....badges have been replaced at some time.
From the horses mouth http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/roadsafety/drs/hidheadlamps One line summary below "it is not permitted to convert an existing halogen headlamp unit for use with HID bulbs"
I have a scanned copy of the manual (mk1 but most will aplly to the mk2 ). Won't be able to post it on this forum but will post a link to an offsite website which will have it. Don't think this breaks any rules ?.........let me know if it does !
Might just be a bit wear on the spindle....it will have done some miles ! Wouldn't worry too much about it, if it works fine leave it alone. Instead worry about the air-con, wiring, brakes, engine etc that are much more likely to have problems.
Oi!!..i don't kerb crawl!!..no need..buggers just jump right out in front of me! :D Would some kind person please explain to MO4 the slight difference between "kerb crawling" and "driving on the kerbs"......both of which incidently you can be arrested for.....well at least blokes can !
I would think the generic Thule Clip-on's would fit. http://www.thule.com/Thule/ProductListPage____45895.aspx I dont think that the MK3 Galaxy hasn't been out long enough to have specific carriers made for it.
