While you are waiting I would check the Auto Transmission relay and look for any loose connections in the direction of the gearbox and associated sensors. Doubt that its the gearbox ECU.

I am behind them. This government has trashed the postal service. They are currently looking to cut around 40,000 jobs....as you might expect, the workers are upset. Just this week they have published the list of yet more post office closures.. Yet more post offices to be closed Also the government have shafted the Nurses and the Prison Service as well....they promised them a 2.5% pay increase in line with inflation and then gave them less....basically they lied to them, as they tend to do a lot. Last I heard MP's were trying to get themselves a pay increase of 66% ( yep I had to read it twice as well ).

what are you on about? that site is based on info in the USA not the UK where the laws are totally different! Which laws ........"the laws of physics"....."the laws of nature" ? I appreciatte that some of the Laws have differences...not "totally different"...it is illegal in the USA to blind oncoming drivers with incorrectly adjusted headlights...."totally different" would mean it is ok in the UK to do this ...I think not. The differences in the laws are fairly minor in most cases. Also I suggest you fully read the page linked to ( and some of the rest of the site ) as it deals mainly with explaining how these light bulbs work and the benefits and disadvantages associated with them. Nearly all the UK sites are biased in as much as that they are trying to sell you a product...and you know what that usually means. Can anyone remember which circuits the bulb warning indicator actually checks. I know it doesn't check sidelights and I don't think it checks Foglights. Does it just check front dipped/main beam and rear stop/tail ?

Agree with Gio on this, if you unplug the MAF and theres no difference ( or its better ) then your MAF has a problem. If its worse then your MAF is probably ok but it might still have a problem....could be on the way out but not totally gone yet. p.s. You been on holiday Gio....not heard from you for a couple of weeks....anywhere nice ?

First check the obvious that it hasn't just become unplugged ( or the cables are damaged ) under the seat....check for voltage when seat switched on/off. If your seat rotates then possibly this has led to the damage. Also check both the seat and backrest to see if either of them gets warm. I have heard that the heated seats can be damaged by extreme pressure ,not just by a fat person, but by someone ( bloke ) sitting on the seat with an object ( wallet with button ) in his back pocket, this can place a pressure point onto the seat damaging the heater.
