  2. Came across this site... http://www.the-ecu-doctor.co.uk/ ..anyone have any experience of this guy ? Just noticed he's on ebay as well http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=330180427979
  3. Seems very overpriced...considering you can pick up complete Gals for this. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=300162044215 At least you can see the engine running with these plus you might get a few extra useful spares.
  4. They should fit both the mk1 & the Mk2
  5. Its a universal rail will fit most cars with roof bars

  8. You missed of the 2.3l Ford Engine....available with both gearboxes. And the 2.8V6 with the 4-wheel drive....gearbox....which I have little info. about. And the Mk1's did have an Auto for the 1.9 Diesel...later models with AFN/AVG engines.
  9. Try here http://www.btinternet.com/~wheelhome/page8.html
  10. It was back when we had imaginings and when we had simplicity. I wish I had someone to talk to, even a cat named Frankenstein.
  11. As the "Cat" said.... "I've seen a lot....of what the world can do And it's breakin' my heart in two"
  12. Came accross some useful info relating to 1.9 Diesel engines.....ECU number is what Vag-Com returns. Mine is 028906021HC clearly an AHU 90bhp engine. I believe the numbers starting 028 to be MK1's and the 038's to be MK2's.....not 100% on this Also pic of the barcode on belt cover. Again clearly an AHU engine....build date VD.
  13. Best luck with the op. Papworth is a good hospital you will be ok there....more expert cardiologists than you can shake a stick at.
  14. It happens to us all mate ! On the good side I can't see so many of the wife's wrinkles..

  16. BJ does your portside rear window open ( or is that just the MK1's where it doesn't ).
  17. You could afford 4 v6's if you had a cash machine in the back of one of them........
  18. Another BJ classic... I like that one, you can customise the ending to suit all tastes....
  19. Possibly misdirected....either way he did not according to the law. He should have informed the Jury that even if the defendant did have a medical condition it was irrelevant to the verdict. Although it might have an impact on sentencing. He should have directed the jury according to the law....
  20. I would have thought the gearbox ......maybe
  21. Region...North-West one presumes....

  23. There is some information about this here http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?showtopic=2295
  24. Hi Mike, The brake and clutch switches are just simple normally open/closed switches. If either is pressed then cruise control will disengage, should be easy to check with a simple meter. Most problems on the petrol engines seem to be related to the vacuum pipes. see here http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?showtopic=7897 Also do a search on the forum for cruise control there is lots of info especially relating to the petrol variants. Ignore the references to the diesel as their cruise control is very much simpler.
  25. I wish I could.... nice...... :) young.... :D :16: very polite... :16: :16: :12: lady.... :16:
