  1. Bum and Thigh's I think......
  2. This is my point ! Whilst I agree entirely that driving whilst drunk is, and should be, punishable. What I am getting at is the difference in the way the law treats people. Someone who drives recklessly and dangerously ( even without insurance, driving license etc) is deemed to be less of a criminal than someone of otherwise good character who gets pulled and is just over the limit. I agree about choice, but surely these people choose to drive recklessly and certainly choose to drive without insurance and license.
  3. Your only a couple of clicks up the M1, fancy popping down and doing mine... ;)
  4. And remember to see your Doctor about the whiplash injury you sustained... ;) Going rate is at least
  5. I would use the rough guide of 60k for the MK1's and 40k for the MK2's. Balance the cost of the change against the damage.
  6. I reckon it should reach just over
  7. I am still impressed with Norton 2007 compared to earlier versions. However I will concede that both McAfee and Kapersky are probably just as good. Certainly wouldn't want to not have an antivirus software running or a hardware firewall.
  8. Yep its a strange one the old drinik driving. Who is worse someone who is sober and drives like an idiot or someone whose judgement is impaired because of alcohol and drives a bit iffy ? For every other crime ( ie if you had punched someone or just generally done something daft) they would take into account that you had been drinking and this would count in your favour. However for driving it seems to be the opposite !
  9. Fancy a BMW myself BMW or this one another BMW
  10. As you can see from the map we are a bit behind the times here.... Count the churches its bible bashing country ! Some interesting stats.......1.2 girls for every boy...! Which sounds good until you realise that the average age is over 40 and most of these girls are widows who have seen their husbands off.
  11. Wot with her feedback rating !
  12. Yes its a very grey area this.... I wonder with the ideas going around about the NHS shunning people who smoke or are overweight might start applying the same to Religious Beliefs. The Mental Capacity Act is another debatable issue....would you class someone willing to die as being of sound mind ? Also where do you draw the line between don't help me if I am dying and assisted suicide.... This is not a dig at the Jehovah's per se, rather it is a critisicm of all religious beliefs that do not put the welfare of the individual and/or family first.
  13. So sad to read this news article... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article427045.ece I know people have these religious beliefs but surely they must balance them against their wellbeing. Obviously its in "the sun" and therefore may not be true, but I know from experience that this does happen. Sadly in this day and age I know doctors who have overuled a patients wishes in cases similar to this and the Hospital has been sued. If this is true it makes you wonder why the family didn't over rule her wishes and ask the doctors to give the transfusion...... it will be interesting to see what comes of this.
  14. Try here for further info. http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?showtopic=13785 Or the FAQ
  15. Only if they know about it..... ;) Besides its a difficult thing to prove.....
  16. Or this one http://www.autotrader.co.uk/
  17. Well my last penalty points have expired from my license....decided to send of for a new one. Luckily I "forgot" to inform DVLA when I moved house last year and it still has the old address on and therefore won't cost me to get it changed. Tried filling in the online form to request a new license... It was adamant that I do not require glasses to drive ( even though I do and indeed I wore them when I took my test, many moons ago ) in the end I agreed with it and said I do not need glasses, will be interesting to see what it says on the new license. Lets see how long it takes to put some points back on it. Actually lets see how long it takes to arrive first... ;)
  18. Hope no one read this....before I deleted it ....
  19. Norton have improved somewhat the 2007 version (internet security) is far superior to the older 2005 version that I had. Much more in the background and less blocking of everything and its dog. I tried McAfee last year and it was better than the older Norton but not as user friendly as the new one. Also on the symantec site they now supply tools for completely uninstalling all Norton software and it works just fine. Try here to see prices.... http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Software/Se...%3B+Anti-Virus/ Obviously this is an example may pay to shop around.
  20. I am sure there has been a couple of cases where police have been caught speeding via Gatso's and have been aquitted as they are allowed to "test the vehicle". Legally they have a point as if you are expected to catch speeding motorists their vehicle has to be up to it and it will need to be driven at excess speeds to do this. If you only get 3 points then I would say nothing and keep quiet as you could actually be banned for doing over a 100mph.
  21. It does sound like you have popped the fuse..which fuse do you think it is ?
  22. Which year and model Galaxy do you have ?
  23. Brilliant program, very enjoyable. http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/show/episodes...0episode4.shtml Wonder how a Gal would have got on......probably about 10 yards before it sunk in the salt plains. Mind you the air-con would have been useful ! I would have both eyes on guard permanently for those Honey Badgers....
  24. I think the Fords had a physically different socket. Have you checked the socket on the Focus to see if the lead will actually plug into it?
