No the MPG system does not take into account the booster heater.....it does not know that it exists....therefore your MPG will be lower than that seen on the readout. The cars electronics can measure the speed of the vehicle and also the engine fuel consumption, from this it can easily calculate the approx. MPG of the vehicle. It is not 100% accurate even over long distances. Also it can be severely affected by the variation by any deflation, wear and modifications of the vehicles tyres.

I think its fuse 53 ( 10 amp ) one of the little chappies !

I can see the point of the old back up battery idea. Would be handy if you could have that with some sort of electronic changeover thingy. Mind you I would still like to find the largest capacity battery that would fit in the Galaxy battery bay ! Anyone got the dimensions for this ?

I am still laughing at thinking that you got a 3 year warranty from Ford. What the **** do Ford ever supply that lasts 3 years. bargain if you ask me..........just check the small print on the warranty............void if connected to vehicle

It sounds like the either there are 2 cd's in the same slot jamming the magazine, try selecting a different cd and see if it clears the magazine. I am assuming that the magazine is in the right way up ! clear window at top ! Another option is that the magazine has no power to it, fuse gone or not plugged in correctly.
