dave what does the towing warning lamp do has a warning lamp,,,,,,does it flash when you indicate or is it on when you connect the caravan/trailer socket to your car,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, As far as I know the buzzer is to warn you that you are indicating on the caravan/trailer I dont have a registered copy of vag-com,,,,,,,will I be able to activate this function

I dont know about yours,,,but my gal is a late 98 model and the ABS light is actually a LED not a bulb,,,,,,,,I have the same problem,,,,,no ABS light,,,,ABS is fitted,,,VAG-COM tells me the NSF senser is faulty,,,,but if the ABS was faulty why no light on??????????????? FORD,,,,,,aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhh

Is your gal an Auto,,,,,,,,,,,,,could be the solenoid for the auto select lever,,,,,,,,

If your door LED is flashing very fast,,,,,then this points to a immobiliser problem as neil said

On my gal its 215/55/16,,,,,,I had a look on the VW site and a new sharan will come with 215/55/16 or 215/50/17,,,,,, Maybe someone fitted the wrong tyre or was trying to save a bit of dosh and fitted a cheaper smaller tyre

Cheers MM, seen these type of sockets before,,,,,,,but I have managed to fix the lock key,,,,,,even with air tools it still wont turn,,,,,,and thats 3 locking bolts that wont turn I was hoping to drill the locking bolts out by myself :(

Why is it u try to do something to make your car better (fit new bottom ball joint) and it all goes t***s up,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Cheers nik,,,,I tried air tools at work, but even they failed to get it off, 90psi of pure muscle, and it did not work, i even managed to straighten the pins on the lock key and now it fits, but still will not turn,,,,,,,, And to make this story worse, I can only get one locking nut off, the other 3 refuse to come off, and thats with the brute force of air tools,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I am on late shift tuesday, so think i will get the drill out,,,,,,,,, :(

Hi Guys, Due to the lovely sunny day, I decided to get the nsf bottom ball joint changed, Went to loosen the wheel nuts and found the lock key was damaged from previous use, and now it wont remove the bolt, so I hammered a 12mm socket onto it, didn't work, just keeps on slipping off.. With out having to buy a new key(still have key code and original box) do any of you, have any suggestions to what I could try now

Why not open the bleed nipple and push back the piston,,,,is that not what u are meant to do with ABS fitted

And dont forget the galaxy is twice the weight of your old mondeo
