Do u mean this part that is circled,,,,,,,,,,,,,think this piece is what holds the spindle to the bracket

Cheers neil,,,,,,i seen i after i posted,,,,,,and the pic u posted was spot on :angry: :angry: I think its stuck because of all the crap within the spindle,,,,,,,,u might be better soaking it in a bucket of penatrating oil,,,,,then use ur hammer :angry: u could use a piece of wood on the threads to protect them when u release ur fustrations with ur hammer

I had a similar problem with my 2.3 gal,,,,,,and it was the low tension cables to the pair of coils breaking up,,,,,,rewired and all is fine johnb80 is correct u have a coil on top of a spark plug with an ht lead to another spark plug,,,,,,,,
