  1. Hi Long time since ive posted on here. I have a 2018 Galaxy titanium x. When the misses goes shopping. I stay in the car and try and keep warm. When We first park the heater is lovely a hot and the temp gauge about half. After 10mins or so the heater starts getting colder and ive notice the temp gauge slowly moves back to cold. As soon as we drive away the heater starts blowing out hot air and the temp gauge goes back to normal. Is there a fault or is this something that ford cars do.
  2. hi all got a 1996 p reg galaxy for sale 6 months mot but no tax needs a little tlc slight miss fire on engine, plugs and leads not been changed for many years so maybe thats the fault. Body work ok ish for its age it shows 187000ish miles but had a 2nd hand engine about 2 years ago, witch had 60,000 miles on it. All windows sunroof all work ok lovely gearbox. Only after
  3. clear them and see what comes back
  4. First thing is to clear the faults, and see what comes back. They could all be old faults.
  5. Im in Surrey if thats any good to you
  6. It only checks exterior lights what year is your car and spec
  7. hi sounds the same as mine on the v6 there are 2/3 speeds to the cooling fans. Mine has 2 speeds and the first speed had stopped working. So when in slow traffic the gauge when rise quite quick then speed 2 fan would come on to lower the temp. Speed 1 should come on when the gauge is on about the R of norm. And the 2nd speed just passed the m hope this helps dave
  8. halfords sell a set of 2 sockets that they claim will undo 99% of locking wheel nuts hope this helps dave
  9. anybody anyone pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase help seats are getting wet when its raining
  10. No dont think you can get into those plugs, you will either need to get a plug from the breakers. (with some wire on it) and join them up. Or do what i did was cut the plug off and crimp 2 small spades crimps, on they are just the right size to go on the bottle.
  11. hi its very unlikely and i dont think it is but if you cant find a fuse gone, and you have no power to the sockets. Their might of been a weakness, in the cable somewhere and its blow en apart at a joint maybe. Just looked at mine and above the relays there are 7 fuses in a row and on mine its a yellow 20amp mines the same year as yours but might be a differantg setup. Cheers dave
  12. hi may seem a silly question, are you sure there is no power going to the sockets, have you tested with a meter. and make sure the wires have not pulled off the socket.
  13. I've got a few for the various controllers around the car, I'll fire up the laptop later and start a new thread with them all attached  Hi Mirez have you had chance to do this yet. If you have i cant find it anywhere. cheers dave
  14. Hi you cant see them under the seat because they are not there. Have you looked where I said.
  15. Hi just looked in TIS the fuses for the Mk 1 luggage sockets are under the drivers seat fuse no 76 & 78 they are both 15 amp thats the blue colour fuse :D oh no there not there is 1 fuse to do them both
  16. Just had a thought is there a way of disconnecting the global opening, ie so windows don't open when unlocked. cheers Dave
  17. Hi this may sound silly, but where the fuses are you need to get on your hands and knees, and look upwards in the fuse holder its right at the top on the left i belive there are 3 fuses there hope this helps. Cheers dave
  18. hi does any one have any ideas. Im thinking of just ripping it out and throw it in the bin. And go back to using the key. .
  19. hi if the red light flashes as soon as you start the car, and there is water in the bottle then the senser is faulty in the bottle. Mine had scaled up. i had to remove bottle and clean out i used limescale remover
  20. I'm assuming you had that fault before you added the relay as you shouldn't have touched the unlocking wiring :) 95% of alarms have the option to change the locking between .5 and 3.5 seconds, look in the installers guide and it should say how to change it. What alarm is it? NO that fault was not there before i disconted the realy and its still on for about 4 secs and so is the locking but again only 4 sec its not an alarm it just the remote locking unit there is nothing in the insructions about it and the bloke i bought it from doesnt care cheers dave
