hi thanks for that worked great, just one thing the unlocking signal is on for to long 4secs. Which is enoth to open the window about half way, any thing i can use to cut this down to about 1 to 2 seconds as its not good, having all 4 windows open when its pouring with rain. cheers dave

the red flashing warning light means low on water, this would also not give you a good heater.

hi hope you don't mind a silly question but what does a relay do why cant you just take the feed from the switch straight to the the head light so when you turn the switch on it power goes to the head light like house wiring you have a fed on one side of the switch when you turn the switch on power goes to the other side cheers dave

this cable in the link (at beginning of post ) will work with vista just needs a bit of head scratching to configure

hi thanks the wire that comes out of the unit for the closeing of the windows, is a negitive swiched on for about 20 secs on locking, hope this is ok to use.

hi all bit of a tricky one. Just fitted aftermarket remote locking kit, and it can close the windows when locked. Does any one know the colour of the wire, that you have to use to close the windows. cheers dave

think ill get one of these remote locking kits aswell.

this is what gets me some people say that this way will never work, and some say it will work who do you beilive.

um think i would of noticed that, so no i havent got rear heating.

Only on diesel models - I dont think the petrol ones start at all. I may be wrong. I can only say for my car, which is petrol and it started then cut out.

WHAT? if they do the job correctly and your ac works they wont charge you? nice now if they did the same deal on tyres! as not charging you for tyres with more tread on when you drive out than when you drove in ;) he he forgot the NOT well spoted

Kwik Fit were doing recharges really cheap and if it doesn't make the temp colder by 10% they wont charge a penny

It is the Infra-Red version.......are you using the procedure below to programme the key... Self-diagnosis for central locking >07.97 Checking infrared remote control or synchronizing vehicle keyIf a vehicle with infrared operation cannot be unlocked there is a distinct possibility that the code for key and control unit are no longer synchronized. This is possible if the key sender button is pressed several times outside of the range of the system. The vehicle key must then be resynchronized. The synchronizing sequence must not take longer than 20 seconds. If the vehicle is equipped with electric windows then the windows must be closed for the synchronizing sequence Insert key in door lock and turn 3 times (to unlock) The key must be held for 0.5 seconds in unlock position each time Remove key from door lock, press and hold key lock button and point key in direction of interior mirror within 5 seconds For checking procedure, the warning lamp lights up in driver's door trim panel Press unlock button 3 times then release lock button The key is recoded. For checking, the warning lamp flashes in driver's door trim panel.Three further keys can additionally be coded. To do this the last two steps of the synchronizing sequence must be repeated. Synchronizing the second and all further keys must be started within 15 seconds of completing the previous synchronizing sequence. These sequences must also not take longer than 20 seconds. HI thanks for that It is the Infra-Red version but cant get the car in to programing mode as said before so dont get as far as pressing buttons hoping someone might know why cant get into this mode
