  1. I think three threads about this is a few too many, so I am merging them all into the one in the recalls section. Sorry if this inconveniences anyone, but I think it better if everything is kept together.
  2. Here is the link to the VOSA site, but still no mention of the recall as far as I can see - mmm phone call to Fraud's coming on I feel!!! ;) Cheers Chris VOSA only deal with safety recalls IIRC and this is a simple manufacturing defect that does not effect safety.
  3. Aye GALA is an acronym for Speed Pulse Wire in German......
  4. Grins Ducks and Runs Like F......
  5. Dodgy soleniod! Starter motor most likely needs overhauled or replaced, although it could be a bad connection. Try connecting 12V+ to the spade terminal where the thin wire is connected to the starter motor.
  6. Well failing that it could be air-locked causing an overheat cut-out or a coincidental failure for another reason.
  7. It is the purple wire in the radio hole. It may be a single wire or bundled into the loom.

  12. You can put cash over the counter in the Nationwide Building Society and someone can then immediately withdraw it at any supported ATM in the world! Still the banks have just had an ass kicking over charges so I guess that nothing will be done about it for a while....
  13. Because the ABS ring has come detached..... Grrr! Does anyone know if it can be tack-welded on? Either that or
  14. Yes, but they will have done the refund and the money left their system, it is the bank's system where it hangs around for over a week!
  15. They can reduce the unit price because all the tooling up and R&D and training staff etc are done. The money for that has been recovered as it will have been factored into the costings on estimated sales. In addition there then came competition from cars like the Grand Voyager. So prices could be cut and were.
  16. That is the bank, not Pay-Pal. I bought a digital camera from a major on-line retailer. Through a mis-understanding they cancelled the transaction and refunded the card, I ordered the camera again and they took the money from the debit card again. The payments come out straight away, but the refund, which the retailer did straight away, takes 7 working days. So where is my
  17. You only need a tell-tale, it can be audible or a light on the dash, you don't need both.
  18. I would check the pressure sender first.
  19. Also they have to go somewhere. They may be folded flat, but they are still taking up potential load space.
  20. TIS a marvelous post!
  21. Aye, clamp off the flexable hose and loosen the nipple. You won't get air in, gravity will see to that.
  22. Aye, but there is a reason you can get a 3 years old Diesel Picasso for that kind of money. And budget for a spare wheel lock for the Picasso and check it has a spare wheel too.
  23. I don't like the way this is heading.....
