just bought some new discs for my 2002 gal , ive got 17" audi a6 wheels on it and wanted to know what delphi lockheed discs are like has anyone had these before and is changing them straight forward :)

the wheels fit perfect there the same pdc as the zetec galaxy wheels 112x5 the tyres are 45s so theres no height difference really , ive ended up buying 2 lassa extra load tyres at

hi when i bought the gal the led had been pushed down in the door so i took the door panel off with dificulty :rolleyes: and found the led on the wire and put it back in and built up , then i tested it and hey presto it didnt work , ive looked under the rubber in the door and i cant see any broken wires ,what should it read on a meter or is there anything else i can try , i need to prog a key up but need the light to see its in the prog mode , thanks

hi my gal has only got 1 key its a remote rf key a siemens type , could i just buy one of the netbay and programme it to open my doors even thou its been for another gal shaz or alam also ive got a key end for the remote ready to cut , who would cut it and who would programme the chip in it to my car? so 3 questions altogether

Well done for changing glow plug. As said heater probably flooded from earlier attempts to start, I know it can be awkward but try to avoid short start stop trips as this cokes the plug causing it to fail prematurely. You may get a small puff of smoke when heater fires up and shuts down but should be clear all other times. thank at least it working ok , i think , short journeys cant be helped around here im afraid , its either the shops or my wifes job ironing and delivering , all local

hi ive just bought a new beru glow plug for my rear aux heater and fitted it , all ok , i started the engine up for about 30 seconds and turned it off , there was a jet engine noise from the rear of the car that when off after a while , i know this is normal as i had a alhambra that did this , my question is that i got no smoke at all out of the exhaust until later that day when i had done about 10 miles and "my god" i had to stop the car as i thought it was on fire it was that bad , it only smoked for around 1 minute then hasnt done it since , the heater is making a noise and when i touched the exhaust it bloody burnt my hand so i dont know if its working or not , should it blow smoke out all the time while running? :rolleyes:

it wouldnt play mp3s though would it , im wanting to keep my original head unit and put a mp3 changer to it so im not faffing about with a plug in mp3 , would it work with a connects 2 adapter

hi ive got a 6000 rds i know what is the plugs for the power and speakers , but ive got a green square plug in the back of my unit with a fuse on it , i dont have a cd changer anywhere , also theres a yellow 1 wire plug inbetween my speaker and power plug , my gal doesnt have remote volume either , ive no idea what the 2 extra plugs are 4 :)

hell fire its like a rash on the forum i need to use the gal this weekend and monday , i cant get to the vw /ford dealer till 3 pm monday so im going to have to temp bodge it tommorow with somwhere thats open , could i take the burnt wire off that doesnt look too bad and connect it staight to my battery with a 150 anp fuse and holder for a temp repair until i can get new fuse and lead , also the gal has just had a new battery what amp hr should it be?? and if wrong would this cause this??
