You can run a server from home, the problem you have in multiplayer is LAG, if you try to run it from the same computer as you are playing on it slows everything down and players get upset. You can set a dedicated PC on your internal network and use port fowarding on your router to route to the dedicated PC this means you won't get lag or as much anyway. I used to do this for quake 3 using noghost server which is brilliant, but a lot see quake 3 as old hat now :(

There is unfortunatly a limit to play because of bandwidth, it costs as for my eye it changes dependent on the time of day, at night it is not so open as where during the day it is brighter in colour and blinks more :16:

OK the edit button has been some cause for debate, it is now back in place so you can edit till your heart is content - erm hang on ohh no you can't You can edit a post with a 20 minute period from when you posted it, after that the edit function will not be active for that post. Hi all Can we please try and reduce the amount of stuff and the image sizes we put in our sigs as it doesnt half eat up the bandwidth, also can you try not to constantly quote everyone and only the bit that is needed to make your point. This is a free service and I want to keep it that way for as long as possible however so far this month this site alone has used 10GB + (month estimate of 42GB) of bandwidth and it increases month on month. Due to the excessive bandwidth and server load I have moved a few things about to try and improve the situation so your help would be appreciated by reducing the amount of unneccesary stuff in sigs and posts. I changed the button set and didn't realise some were missing, you would asume if they are in a mod they would all be there ;)

Everybody with the sign in issue is probably using mozzila or IE6, this is because the new authentication cookies are encrypted, I have edited to allow the old way of authentication so it should now remember you.
