ive got a mk2 towbar for sale,if your intrested?

well ive done it,have px'd the gal for a lexus is200 navigator. 1st car ive owned in about 12 years :),wonder how long it will last before the fuel consumption gets to me :lol:.no more 55 mpg. sorry to see the gal go,was generally a superb car but as we also now have the smax no longer need 2 7 seaters.hopefully i wont miss it too much. mark(mirez)tried sending you a pm m8 but i think your box is full?

yep im seriously thinking of selling the gal. dunno how much she is worth?just serviced her. but have my eye on a lexus is200 any 1 had one of these cars and know of any problems with them? have done a google search on a lexus forum and like most cars they seem to have there fair share of trouble.just wanted a real life opinion. or am i nuts going to a petrol car that will on a run do 35mpg.

yes,as said do a search on aux heater,or look in the faqs.in there is a small thread on the subject within it are details on how you can test/fool it into life during these so called hot days.

oil change needed maybe? mine does this when its getting time for an oil change.

iirc,if you remove the cover by the button this exposes the motor and there should be an allen key clipped in there so that you can close the sunroof in an emergancy. think you may have to do a search on sunroofs and see what comes up,there is a detailed thread on repairing them in the faqs in the tech section of the forum.

i do belive the air con on mk1's are a hell of a lot better then mk2's.

im sure in the faqs are info on the temp output from the center vent,if not then im sure someone who knows more about aircon can give you the correct temp.

have you dropped your keys,if so you might of lost the pats chip from the key? do your brake lights work?if not then perhaps you need a new brake switch?

take a look in the faqs in the tech section of the forum,in there you should find details of what to look for and check and very good instructions to carry out and repairs that are needed.

well the most ive had registerd on mine was 59.9 mpg,and that was going under 60 mph. now every year this rears its head and if you do a search on here you will find the same claims by the same people.its great reading the responses :Despecially the ones who cant get anywhere near it. i average around town 40 mpg but will go down depending on how heavy my foot is. now when i owned my 2ltr galaxy that used to suck fuel to the point of making me cry. and for those who run a v6 version well it aint going to the moon and back on a gallon of fuel is it :lol:but i have heard its a lot of fun trying in 1 of those,:angry2:

even though it could be an easy job to do,my concerns are that as it is a new car,i would think you might invalidate the warrenty if you fitted this yourself??? do check the fine print,as the stealers will use anything to get out of a warrenty claim.
