nice bit of kit,just noticed a footnote at the bottom of the page that it advises that if you have a u.v reflect windscreen then you need another bit of kit,just wonder if any one knows if my zaffy has one or not and how do you tell? regards gregers

hmmmmmmm sounds definatly susspect that the cowboys you took it too are trying to get more dough out of you,wired any other way id think it would trip the circuit breakers,this way if your not clued up,they would hope you would bring it back to them for a fault finding exercise thus costing you a days labour of xxx amounts of dosh plus vodka and tonic. what do they attually do for a service?you obviously have been caravaning a long time is it a neccessary that it is serviced?and why cant you do it yourself? regards gregers

ive recently had my car mot,d the tester said they see alot of diesels that fail because they are not driven,i:e school runs and he said to me that if mine had fail(its the 1st thing they did)then to get some injector cleaner and take it on a 50 mile thrash then bring it back,hth.

use the problem as a bargaining tool and try to get it cheaper,coz you nether no it might cost big bucks to get it sorted. regards gregers

:D o happy days car passed the mot today,only 2 advisories rear tyre the tester says there a cut in the tread and the rear pads are low,but as he said its very hard to judge the amount left when hes looking down from above,as this is the first diesel weve owned i was surprised on what they had to do when it came to check the emmisions :D the ammount of shite that came out of the exhaust,why is it ive never had a car sail through without some sort of advisory? :( regards gregers

this defo sounds like wires broken in the tail gate,had this happen to me on my old gal,they tend to be tight around that area so the ammount of times the rear door opens and shuts no wonder the wires fail,i would attempt to check as thorughly as possible round that area,hth regards gregers
