  1. welcome to the forum tom.
  2. 0-to infinity. :48: some peeps have been very luckey and have never had any problems at all, others have had nothing but trouble with theres.
  3. good find isolater, but it doesnt do V codes m8.and this you will find will be used on the more modern smax's and mk3 galaxys. this is the problem owners will find when they realize they havnt got the code in there paper work because fords havnt given it to them when the car was purchased.then have the front to say it will cost you.
  4. welcome to the forum, there is info on this somewhere in the forum,do a search. i dont think it listed in our faqs,so it may go back a few years?
  5. any fault codes? maybe it might require a software update, iirc chris had this done on his and it quered a few niggles on his?
  6. as i do belive the forum has been fixed, get the pics up pronto. bet the wrap will look good.
  7. thanks for updating,as you have seen by the lack of replys, problems on the mk3 are a little on the thin side.so as you have found your the guinea pig.
  8. if it isnt this continue looking through this info, eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_part&s_id_part=1210807&s_id_model=118
  9. if its anything like on the smax, then its just held in place by tangs, what i had to do was using a bunt piece of plastic GENTLY prise/lever the plastic surrond up,i started from the passenger seat and worked towards the stereo. BE CAREFUL to heavy handed and it could break.you do this at your own risk,
  10. ah balls,missed that
  11. well ive recently had a very similar problem on my smax as you are having. parked up in a car park out side my local halfords, listened to the radio for about 1/2hr and couldnt start the car. called out breakdown peeps, and he TOO said my starter was drawing to much and tried to convince me to go the the nearest garge of his choosing.and got the hump when i refused. if you have done the on board diagnostic check it will tell you the voltage of your battery, mine was in the morning saying around 11.8 and after a drive 12.2,and then back down to around 11.8 once i had finished work. in the end i had to have a new battery and this is staying on 12.4 constantly.so my reckoning its a battery problem.
  12. ben you have a pm.
  13. hi and welcome, good pics. just a bit of advice, you might want to blur your number plate ;) good to see the forums been fixed and we can start posting pics again, :)
  14. have you tried the passenger lock? take a look in our faqs found in the technical section of the forum,in here you will find detailed instructions on reprogramming the key fob.
  15. wotcha and welcome to the forum.
  16. yep confuzzed. who's replying to what?
  17. moved this to the correct section of the forum, if its possible?try unclipping another switch to see if its that?
  18. when we had ours fitted to our smax we were told it had to be coded to the system so that all lights etc worked correctly and then has to be redone if you want it removed.
  19. wotcha and welcome,were always gentle here,some even use ky. :16: :16:
  20. well i have a smax, and the rear most seats are a tight squeeze,i have 3 kids and the youngest (11)goes in the back when i have anyone else in the car with us.i personally wouldnt want to even try to get in them.as for the smax personally i think its looks slightly better then the mk3 and it does drive like a car, without the wallowing you tend to get with mpv's in general.there are members on here who will give you an opinion on the mk3 some bad some good  .
  21. wotcha and welcome.
  22. if it is the booster heater your getting confuzed about, there just happens to be a thread on this very subject in the tech section of the forum.ITS NOT THAT BIG :31:
