sounds like the door strap needs greasing,had this on my zaffy.got to a point where it actually pulled it self away from the door frame,big penny washer later and loads of grease job was a gooden. try using silicone grease,oh and check all doors.

i would take a very close look at the wiring.

welcome to the forum, maybe? perhaps going into the settings within the convers system,your glove box owners manual should give you the info on how to set different settings.

if your only having a new blade cut then use the old pats chip and place it in the new key.

could well be a sensor problem,if you do a search on here there is a lot of info about this subject.

am i missing the point here,have you actually put a cd in the bloody thing to see if it plays. :lol: :lol: if like all my dvd players in my house it will know the difference between a dvd and cd and play it accordingly,i can not see that they would only allow you to play dvds.

if he didnt do it then why has he said he will repair them so quickly once you threathened him with the legal route?. he knew what he done and was hoping you wouldnt notice.

dunno if this will help at all????? but irrc 'seatkid' posted up somewhere about clearing the dust/crud out from a vent somewhere on the front of the climate unit. as said dunno if this will help but might be worth a hunt on here for the info.or if your really luckey and he sees it he will point you in the right direction.

if you are close to me i have a regulator sitting in my garage,drivers side. i had this happen to me and i sourced a mk1 regulator with motor. took all the parts out and rebuilt onto the mk2 frame work. you just need 3 hands to wire up the 2 way plastic spool within the motor.

also look at the door switches in case theres a bad earth within them.

i think it would be very prudent to disconnect the battery AND wait at least 1/2hr before you disturb anything that invovles an airbag.

yeah i dont beleive the parts list/prices are of any good for us,but as general info it does seem a godsend.
