  3. Is the lack of an 'edit' button on our posts a symptom of these problems or have we been downgraded and lost this ability ? Can't say I've seen much in the way of evidence of abuse using the edit facility but then I'm not around here much !!

  13. if I read it correctly? outside temp 7.5degrees Fahrenheit ? then its 13.6111111 degree Celsius surely 32 F= 0 C so 7.5 F = -13.6 C
  14. as a long shot - how about the fluid level in the box (might have missed post on this already) looking at auto box site - fluid level needs to be enough to drive - wonder if allowing to warm up allows fluid to expand - cheaper than new box
  15. even when our aux heater was not working when the engine had got up to temperature it never had a problem maintaining it :lol: some variation but certainly at the top end ....

  22. the point being that growibg the plants to make the oil locks up the co2 in the first place so on a contemporary timescale it is neutral
  23. you dont have to do the 66K in one year! break that down over two, three years and you have your answer, the longer you keep the vehicle the better the return, after a point you not only break even but in theory start to make a profit on your original outlay :lol: with a conversion of this type you dont expect to recoup you costs instantly! it's an investment in the future :lol: Like I said in my first post, you'd have to be doing some serious mileage to make this worthwhile. It'd take me about 6 years to break even so personnally wouldn't consider it! :rolleyes: bloody 'ell surely you could walk to the corner shop every 2 weeks rather than wear out the galaxy :D :lol: :P

  25. the recirc flap is vacuum operated, it maybe that the switch/valve is stuck? remove the switch and see if you can manually operate the flap by sucking/blowing down the hose! if mot remove the upper glove box (if you have one?) and you should be able to see the actuator :D jeez doing a gooner here :D :D :D :D :D
