thought the hinges on galaxies were welded on - check the bolts holding the strap mechanism, our drivers door showed exactly those symptoms and the two bolts on the door side were loose so it snapped back in just before the door closed with a loud click :-)

Gteuk - it was partly a change in work policy which influenced my final descision to give up (that and the emotional blackmail from my 6 year old daughter) - what I found was that instead of worrying about when I could next pop off site for a ciggy I managed to get much more done - the school kids hate it though cos I now keep the little b*ggers in at lunch and break cos I've nothing better to do then. :ph34r: Neil - can you let me have a copy of your calculator - I know you offered before but I didn't want to temp fate :ph34r:
