Welcome to the forum - its a bit of a madhouse (please do not feed Mazhttp://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/uploads/monthly_01_2007/post-555-1169810246.gif - the e numbers give her fits) - most of us are friendly click on the link in my signature to get to the faq - please be aware that the way the forum is set up means that you can reply to posts anywhere, but only start topics in new member introductions and trainee help - if its a technical topic it will be moved to the relevant section. You will not be able to see pictures in threads yet either - if you click on 'options' on the top right of a topic and select 'download topic', open - you will be able to see the images. When you get to 30 posts then these restrictions will be lifted. Hope this helps

would not really sensible not to have your data backed up :) so just bite the bullet - write them to cd copy across and put the cd's away as back up :)

Jaroth a sevice engineer for the aux heaters implies that the fault codes are local to the heater which would agree with wolfies info .....

NikpV replied to JohnR's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
we had 'jaroth' a sertvice engineer for these heaters register a few months back and I did ask him for you IIRC you had the errors but it worked fine - can't remember if he answered - serach for his posts and maybe pm him ?? -
sounds lile there are assuming a drain down and refill of coolant as well as a new exhaust, you don't need to disconnect the coolant pipes or drain down in which case an hour is plenty, lets say

Central Locking Problem
NikpV replied to jbatista's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
so using the key in the drivers side opens the other doors - not the drivers door?? if you can get in Once in does the locking work from the buttons on the drivers door??? favourite cause of central locking problems is the wiring breaking down in the rubber boots between door and pillar, click in the link in my signature and have a look in the faq thre are some picture/procedures for checking if you cant get in what about the tailgate - do the motors sound ? -

since ford parts catalog list it do you think that the part could be fitted with no other changes? ie. are the current connection there in the loom to power and operate the extra clocks? edit: I assume it lists it if the picture is there ??

ours did this a while ago :( - getting someone to put downward pressure on the bonnet after spraying with wd40 into the correct area (angled slightly from left to right) and pulling the catch gently got it open - after which a liberal dose of wd40 in the catch flowed by 3 in 1 + some grease to ensure it doesn't happen again ^_^

believe it - I've see the photo's
