  1. oops -- options are limited you need two keys to self program so these options will give you 2 keys so you can get cheap keys and program yourself (3 keys will allow you to lose one and still program) no other key - get car transported to dealers + 2 new keys (
  2. ok - just taken my remote apart - here is a macro shot of the blade end of the key - red arrowed part is the pats chip bloody hell what a narrow depth of field !!!

  8. IIRC - if you get the fault codes read this is the code you are looking for 17965 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation
  9. this reminded me of some past satellite/cable installers from here sky news item
  10. likely to be a dirty turbo vane problem - usually happens over 3k revs engine detects a pressure/boost problem and ecu puts it in to 'limp home mode'. Will reset on restart until problem is detected again see here for diy solution !!

  15. sounds expensive - ours crunched at 30k and had a new one under warranty - latest figure quoted for a new one fitted was over

  22. recently we had the white smoke and like yours it came from the exhaust as well as from the junction of the exhaust and heater - I did buy another glow plug but before I could fit it the thing started firing up again
  23. how about broken insulation and short circuits??
  24. back to the broken wires/insulation in door to pillar rubber boots again i would suspect as a first port of call - cheapest options first :D :D :(
