Either..... you have to pick an option from all three, in your case "none of the above" for the first one and "none of the above" / whatever from the last two. or nik has banned you personally from voting.....quite possible that. :lol: more likely he clicked on 'view results' which effectively cast a null votre and stops you voting again

we got the light by having the instrument cluster replaced :) :D :D ;) under waranty for a different problem - personally its overated - the indicator is on when the cc is switched on but doesnt care whether its activated or not ...

on my mk2 the shiny button is a plastic cap which fits on a plastic shaft with splines :blink:

yes I've looked at the combined units eg ..this one I am bother by 2 things with combined units !) the noise they make drive/fan and 2) if it goes wrong you lose both parts, eventually I would like to put the nas in the loft (so may self build here) and as the price of streaming unit come down (not necessarily HD) put some in the kids bedrooms to save all the discs being buggered and one HD unit with the big telly /hifi in the living room.

had the same problm a couple of months back (socket to go in the locking wheel bolts missing presumed moved by 2 year old, eventually found in well under passenger seat) went to F1 autocenters they charged an extra

umm this seems like a long time ago - in fact it worked fine for a couple of weeks - I did have some issues with the graphics card (wasn't sure if it was ok anyway) on windows boot up (ok in bios - funny chaotic display for 8 sec before clearing during windows load) interestingly enough it didn't ask for validation. After a few weeks I re installed (xp pro) to see if there was any difference with the graphics card - guess what no change - so there is a hardware issue with it anyway both stategies worked ok - separate graphics card much better than the built in one (although the built in is dx10 but there is no chance that vista will ever sniff this machine) now looking at HD media streamers and nas - any experience folks ????

sounds like wiring in door-pillar rubber boots - either wires broken inside insulation or insulation cracked and wires shorting ..... sometimes you can change the symptoms by wiggling the rubber boots have a look at item 31 & 43 in the faq here

wiring see here looking for broken wires in intact insulation or split insulation with exposed shorting wires - if you dont find any then have another look :ph34r:

put the shift into 'manual' before braking and try it again - pick is then instant for me - put shift back to 'auto' just right for those roundabout/giveway where you want filter into the traffic
