i bought some deflecters on the ferry, but did'nt use them. look in the small shop by the information desk.

mines a 90 and had 5 adults round the mountains in france, pulled realy well up the hills. if i had a go in a 110 or more would i want one?

well it could be a good test for mine. its a 97 galxy 90 bhp with over 150k on the clock. <_<

i have just got my first supply of bio diesel. its the additive that you mix at a ratio of 5%. after my first trip the car seemed to drive smoother and quieter. i will see if the mpg has any improvement. any one else tried it yet?

i had three new tyres fiited and all of them leaked slowly. i took them back to the fitter who applied the sealer to the rims, no leaks now.

i think that the front heated screen will not work with the rear heated screen switched on at the same time. does this help?

loads of people in wales were using cooking oil, until they got caught for not paying the fuel duty. :lol:

i got one a week ago, they are very hard to get any real information from! i have'nt found anything good on it yet. maybe you need to spend a long time learnibg how to use it.

you can get beam deflectors on the ferry that bend the beam. they are clear plastic and need to be removed when you get back to the UK. cost

bet they take it in to fix, then park it up and wait for you to collect it again fixed? :(

my 97 tdi was having the same problems, it would cut out and i had to pull over and re start the engine. it was as if the plug was pulled on an electrical item. i got relay 109 replaced

still running wel! going to give it a good test now though, off to the french alps. any advice on what i may need to take or prepare for?

i think thats too much money for the car. i would'nt have had it unless the dealer put the seats right niether. there are other cars around. :lol:

replaced relay and alls well at the moment. done about 60 miles and no cut out. :blink:

had mine tinted by a company in bishops stortford essex. cost me

found the page now. they call it the crank position sensor ill have a look and let you know if this was the problem. may be a week or so, off on holiday. <_<

only thought it may be a filter as the car has been with me only since july. and dont know if they were changed at some time or not. where is the crank angle sensor? had a look through the haynes manual, but must have missed it. also relay 30? thanks

i have been told that it could be as easy as a fuel filter needing to be changed. is this a possible? i'll keep in mind your other sugestions as well though thanks. <_<

had my 97 1.9 tdi since last july, no problems untill now. the engine cut out and i had to pull over. after 5 mins it started again for a short time, then cut out. it died once more and i managed to drive the 8 miles home. it cut again on a short journey, the same day. and now its parked up at home. what is it?? <_<

i remember that a leak was found to be from the wiper arms fitting not sealed properly. may be a place to look? :rolleyes:
