hello . car wet into garage hoping thermostat had gone , changed that but still no heat inside the car ,they are now saying that it could be the water pump . with my limited knowledge of cars doesn't the water pump spin with the timing belt , so how can it be bust . thanks for any help . john

The problem was or is that I've never heard the fan come on before especially after engine turned off , did it again today but car running sound so must be all ok fingers crossed :-)

Mines the same never ever heard the fan before really strange

Hello had a quick search but couldn't find an answer , when I turn the ignition off the fan runs on for a minute ish it's never done this before and the temp gauge show normal half way , just wondering if I'm looking at a problem ???????

Just a puzzle really does the door led light flashing mean anything ? Mine seems to flash 11 times then have slight pause then start again 11 pause etc . Thanks anyone who can shed light for me

Hello . Pressing front windscreen makes revs drop but screen doesn't demist , got tomorrow off so should get time to look , Just thought weird that revs drop and nothing works

Defo heated screen .has been replaced so last owner said . If wires aren't connected why does it drop revs etc . Thanks for reply

Hello again , bought another tdi gal 54 plate auto (getting lazy ) but the heated screen dont seem to work , Switch lights up as should both by pressing and by heater panel engine revs drop slightly and alternator makes a sound when light is on but it doesn't clear . Have had a read in topics but not come across this , Also drivers mirror nothing works is this on a separate fuse to passengers . Wouldn't think I'd had a galaxy for five years other one must b a good en . Thank you
