Had a look at that was a bit green so wire woo led it and cleaned it with a bit of wd40 but only the bit I could see didn't wanna take anything to bits , Would this stop it from charging correctly

All wires in tailgate done last year . Garage thinks alternator going should be at 14 and mines pushing 13.4 over my head but gotta trust em lol

It's a 2001 tdi battery just over a year old , battery is for the car . Managed to jump lead it off this morning and daft thing is its started every time since didn't go for a drive . Really confusing me .

If I leave my car a couple of days car won't start , even sounds like it's struggling to cope when just left . Why would the battery go flat is it possible it's draining itself or is it just Knackered . Thank for any help

Does the Galaxy have 2 heated mirrors "? I've got a 2001 ghia and a 2004 ghia and both mirror heats on the drivers side don't heat up . Thank you

I did mine with the key in the lock , it did take a few times before I got it to work though

Thanks for the answers , if the maf sensor is going wouldn't there be other symptons . Also it was definite limp mode no power what so ever

Hello just done a round trip of 300 miles and the auto gal 115 bhp kept going into limp mode at around 70 especially up hill . Seemed to pick up nicely at all other times , just a bug bear . Any ideas please thank you

Or going to Near Stoke on Trent to work next week

mine did similar had a intermittent misfire ,judder.. turned out to be the wiring loom for the injectors .

the offers there would be quite happy to pay ......any takers please

aah I know that doesn't work . needs a glow plug but garage doesn't want to do it ....

got back today all done new pulleys etc heat in the car seemed to take a long time to heat up though , maybe working properly now

garage rang water pump goosed , gonna cost 400 with new timing belt pump thermo and coolant

well I hope it is this as there sayiny it could be a head gasket . but still pretty expensive
