i also had a 3.3 ghia X it has cruise control that worked when it felt like it if my memory serves me correct it was a problem with the vacum pipes coming away

Hi all i bought a renault megane scenic today as a project to do up and move on. Now the problem i have on the MOT failure slip it mentions the brake limit valve can anyone shed some light on what it is and what it does many thanks H x

air con is a common failure could be as simple as a regas or as expensive as a new compressor don't think the cruise control is an expensive fix just depends whats wrong with it

s reg is a Mk1 can't help with the air bag issue but am sure someone will be along soon that can

your lucky they only keyed it up here they like to through paint stripper at it....... never had anything like that done to mines though but some cheeky little sod nicked the alloys off our escort a few years back and someone tried to force the windown down on the galaxy but they didnt get in thank god one of our neighbours had his car set on fire they put a lit firelighter on his bumper we now have cctv in our car park so no ones cars been toouched since it went it touch wood! :wacko:

the scaffolding company came and took down the planks that hadn't fallen so its ok ......... for now :rolleyes:

don't know what the weathers like where you are but here its terrible! We have gale force winds which wouldn't be a problem in itself but we have scaffolding outside because there repairing the roof and the planls are blowing off and landing at our door steps! the council say they'll try and get out but there run off there feet!
