Hi guys thanks to all ,i found the huge screwdriver through the opening in the wheel arch liner the best took about 2 mins to do. Mind you half an hour spent trying to find how to change sidelight from engine bay before i resorted to the forum :o and half an hour to put the small plastic thing back in the hole after it fell out  .Other than that easy why do ford make the smallest things the most difficult. cheers

crikey that`ll teach me to wait until i read my replies :P new battery is fine sweet as a nut auxillary water pump (the one that comes on when you stop) has packed in there is no noise when i turn the engine off :P and the parking sensors have defaulted to screeching/ flashing problem mode still it will give me something to do when the rain stops

or a blocked or collapsed pipe sounds like a water pump to me why do they always go wrong in winter <_<

Auto Box, Is This Normal?
lazyb5 replied to mike99's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Hi guys my gal does the same had it for about a year i find i can keep the revs about 2.5 to 3 thou and it slips through the first 2 gears and bites on the 3rd. If i boot it ,it catches 1st,2nd and 3rd without slip and it takes off like a scalded cat Since i`m getting 40mpg out of it on a run and 30-35 around town i havnt bothered with it. -

So i have small lorry tyres on the van which are up at 56psi and can take 750kg each tyre (van weighs 1232) the best part is the cost
