Unless i have this wrong, when you put a warm liquid in with a cold liquid doesnt it warm up slightly the cold liquid and eventually the cold liquid will be a lot warmer?so on a long journey wouldnt the diesel eventually get a wee bit warm if this wasnt in place? Its all new to me though as i didnt notice anything like that on my Gal....when did they start putting it on?

If you come across a dead link then can you please also let us know, this goes for everyone..or if you come across a thread with pictures that are no longer there. When some members leave for whatever reason then sometimes they delete the attachments they have uploaded or links to like say photobucket where their pictures may be hosted. As Saif has already pointed out, we do have a classified section and also a wanted section. If you do post in classifieds then please read the pointers in that section the same with the wanted. Just pinned the me thread and the pictures thread.

Umm no..i was useing it as an analogy...the fact that things that are lower than the heat source are usually cooler..or that things that need to be cooler need to be lower than the heat source.. or i could say..you never know what you might find in a fuel tank if a bloke is caught short in the middle of no where and needs to um relieve himself....

Maybe..its to cool the fuel when it gets a wee bit warm to stop it going boom whilst you are driving... :rolleyes: I mean..i can tell when my lad has a temp as his nuts hang very low to keep em cool...as im sure you blokes have the same thing when you get a wee bit warm..soooo stands to reason it would be where it is the coolest which is under the car as all the cold air rushing around it will keep it cool maybe???..well..way im thinking it might work..coz no point putting it where it wont get cool like in the engine bay where it can get pretty warm.

Yes it is a diagnostic tool that can be plugged into your vehicle to display any error codes/clear error codes/reset things. Sorry to use the saying but if you search then you should find the info that you require.Some peeps buy a cable from Ebay then download the stuff needed free..or you could go to ross tech and pay a feww hundred quid for everything that you need. I myself dont know much about it, but i know it is covered if you put in vag com in the search engine.

Hi, you need to remove the bezels first (these are the bits the fingers curl around on the inner part of the handle), these can be removed by levering them off with a blunt knife or flat bladed screwdriver.They are only clipped in. The rest you can lever out (again only clipped), the same way. Hope this helps.If not will post some pics. I do have a spare set somewhere which i was going to redo.

Yep, more or less the same thing. The car will need to be up in the air as it will be in the middle,and the brakes will need to be bled after.You may find that the pipes may be corroded or seized.

its a valve fitted to the rear subframe that reduces the pressure to the rear brakes as the weight comes off the rear wheels during braking (nose down tail up). More than likely needing replaceing, try a motor factors not renault as it will be a lot more expensive. did it fail due to corrosion or leaking?

I believe,,if the alt goes whilst it is being driven, then the car will run on what is left in the battery..then it will just die..all dials will go a bit doolally then it will just stop basically. You can source second hand alts from breakers yards, the one i got came with a 6 month warrenty and cost me 75 quid.No idea what they are new.
