Front Wipers Creeping Up The Screen
mumof4 replied to Darchy's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
oooo its a bugger when they stop in pouring rain. you need to remove the wiper arms first, best to mark ont he screen where they lay before doing this so you know where they should be against the screen you will need to remove the black air box to give you room in getting the linkage in and out.will need to remove the black shroud the covers the linkage. The linkage is bolted on as you will see when you take the shroud off.Be careful as the motor is attached to linkage via a plug, will need to undo this.. when you have managed to get the linkage off, please dont whack it with a hammer..they can break. when you do finally get it unseized ( if that is the problem) be a good idea to have a clean inside the shaft where the spindles go then put some copper ease ( or whatever you prefer ) on the spindles before sliding back into the shaft. There will be a couple of flat clip things on the top and bottom of the spindles. when you go to put linkage back into the car, connect up to the motor BEFORE re-fitting linkage then very carefully holding/balancing the linkage ( watch fingers for this bit ) turn the ignition key so electrics come on and the linkage will move into the park position ( the position the wipers are in when the car is switched off and wipers off ) the refit linkage.then put wipers back on.then if you so wish, test the things before you put everything back together. If wipers are not sorted out when they start to go, or when they do go, and you keep trying to make them work, then the motor can go kaput. Hope this helps. -

Not every child that goes into foster care is neglected by the birth parents. There are many reasons why it happens as i am sure you are aware, but yes the majority are neglected/abused in some way by either birth parents or are deemed at risk by a family member or friend of the family. But sometimes the emergency foster care is for respite, or when something happens to a parent and there is no one immediately there to care for the child/children Unfortunately, there are some parents in this world who cannot for whatever reason look after their child, neglect, abuse them. And abuse comes under a few different titles: Sexual Emotional Neglect Physical Cant remember the others as its been a very long time since i was involved in it all. If as you say the mum is pregnant again, then i am sure there have been meetings to decide as to whether the new child will be at risk, if it is deemed so then a court order will remove the child shortly after birth.
