As there are different MAFS for different models/years you need to make sure that you get one that is exactly the same as yours.I.E. same part number. Fords, Motor factors, E-bay etc...

Engine Management Light Staying On
mumof4 replied to Bobski's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Not sure hun, but disconnecting the battery resets things.I had to do it after my oil warning light came on when i was low on oil , i topped it up and it stayed on, after spending nearly a hundred quid on parts and it still hadnt gone out it was suggested that i disconnect the battery..poof..out it went. Glad it worked for you and your very welcome. -
Had mine a couple of weeks now  spare remotes are like gold dust and ended up getting one from ebay, same as where i got the wii from.200 quid i paid for mine ( the console that is).Least the kids ( and me) will be happy come xmas day. :22:

Engine Management Light Staying On

its reported an error fault .( IIRC) off the top of my head you could just try disconnecting the battery for about 15 mins to see if it goes off.( keycode for radio will be required if you do this) i would try this is if the car itself is running mine.If it doesnt go out then you could take it to an auto electrician to see what error codes are flagged. My engine management light came on on saturday but ran fine, but that was due to me disturbing a cable when i was taking some road debris out of the engine bay. -
HUn just noticed your sig, course we wont kick you off, hope that you will stick around. When did the old gal go?
-
where has the year gone? f*ck knows hun, Last thing i remember is some tw*t running when the gal was being driven away!!.. I'm still trying to figure out when i can get to go Xmas shopping, as with youngest poorly at the mo got no time to myself to go shopping.Eldest two are ok as they only want a couple of things and the rest in cold hard cash, youngest two want every bloody thing that is advertised in between the kiddie programs, plus everything in the Argos catalogue!!.. Reminds me..i really must make sure the wii works before i wrap it up
-
Had the same complaint.lol. Gotta admit..this year will be different for me and the bairns, but we are looking forward to it.
-
Happy birthday hun, hope that you had a good day.
-
is that roughly translated as you want pics of what gals look like under the bonnet from the year 2k onwards to see where all the various bits and pieces are by the cam cover? Im female..need things explained to me

-
i wonder if there will be a recall? as a lot of peeps seem to have this whine. and if it leads to power steering failure..then that is def not good.
-
gawd..that is brilliant..and its on 180 quid! sat chuckling away, something that started as tongue in cheek has certainly grown to enormous proportions!
-
Very true, very true.
-
wow, and it took you a year to find it in the boot??..heck..is this a record? Glad you got it sorted hun.
