I am indeed, im not called a bitch for nowt :D

i disagree, i think they look smart, especially the MKII.i like the smooth contours, the look of of it, the feel of how they handle, yep its a pain when something goes wrong and it seems never ending, but it happens across all makes and model of cars.i would never have a MKIII, as i really dont like the look of it.yep..purely cosmetic..but im allowed as im female :D
-
hmmmmmmmmmm...................... if it is...does desperate mean its due in pretty pronto and you havent done it? but yep, i think its in the wrong section so im gonna move it.tis my job im afraid hun :D

Its fine here. What kind of mods were you thinking of doing?
-
you can change the settings in your pcs control panel in display i think it is...or is it the resolution??hmmm....i know i had this problem.solved it by changing the resolution.
-
Hmm..have you tried disconnecting the battery for 15/25 mins to see if it resets the ecu?
-
if you mean the colour bit, then yes, you can replace just that bit.
-
the fuse boxes never seem to correlate ( ooo...good word that!!) with what is in the manual most of the time.so it can be hit and miss.
-
still catching up on posts here, so whats up with the Gal??
-
welcome hun, yep, i did the same as you when i first joined, i did it even when i was fixing my Gal :o the offer for the oil change sounds good to me, as for the additive, i have no idea. Have fun on here, and look forward to hearing how the oil change goes, as it is quite a low price for all it entails.

does it suffer turbo lag? tdis ( if yours has a turbo which i am assumeing it does) do have turbo lag initially till the revs are up and the car gets going. -

we do have a few members in Ireland, not sure if any of them have vag com though. welcome to the forum, im just sorry that its a problem like this that has brought you to us. but you MUST get in touch with trading standards.you may even get all the money back you have spent already on it. -

just in case you dont understand what is meant by codes being read. the car has an ecu, an onboard computer if you will that will record codes of any errors. an auto electrician can read the codes, what he needs to do is read the car, clear the codes, you need to restart the car and see what error codes then reappear.I believe this is your port of call before anything else. when you get the error codes, then you can come on here and ask for an explanation as many on here have vag com and will know what most of the codes mean. do this before you authorise any more work on the car. This way you will know what it is that is wrong with the car. legal wise, the members were only trying to help you save money that you have thrown at the mechanic possibly unneccessary. you will find that if a mechanic doesnt know what is wrong with the car, then he will just replace anything he thinks it could be.you may have more than likely paid out already far too much for parts that were not needed. your mechanic should work for Ford by the sounds of it!! -
welcome muffdiver, i mean duffmiver  :D :D :angry2:

thanks hun.i got this place sorted by sunday eve, all ready to be able to get online on monday and not have to worry about unpacking etc..and then i find out i cant get on till today!!.i was not a happy bunny. soooooo i spent a couple of afternoons flying, learning to take off and i learnt not to overcorrect when taxying and aim at myself and my instructor when i finally pullback and the plane takes off..didnt half move when that happened!. i spent a day on the wilderness that is the garden and am well cheffed with what i achieved there, sorted out the ponds in the back with the help of john.we think all the dead koi carp have been fished out now!!. ive wathed several dvds over and over again, ive been back at the old house sorting that mess out...and generally counting the hours during the week till i could get back online again..yeah i know..i lead a sad lonely life  though i must admit, i am proud of all i have achieved this past week. and as for giving up smoking,,,,,its been 10 hours since i last had one.Not been too bad today...ive been a bit snappy, kids have hid a couple of times so far this eve, but they are still alive :D Kids are happy, im happy but now broke, but all in all..the move has been worth it.I had a lot of help on moving day, which was greatly appreciated, but i had to get rid of a lot of stuff which was hard as i didnt have much to start with. but..the icing on the cake is the bath.........i tell you what, lying in a bath with jets of water directed at you..is umm...very interesting :angry2:
