My maf is disconnected i know that for sure as its got brown tape over the end that supposed to go into the other bit.

Ummm,,,......so..the maf being disconnected means the turbo does not work as well as it should,..if at all???and that less fuel goes thru the engine??? :(

Oh..and when you replace the maf..do you have to replace anything else...like the pollen filter? :(
