right, maybe i should clarify something. this is the original crack...,...it grew to over 8 inches long over sunday night. this is the crack that i noticed monday... I didnt post them before as they are crap pics.. yes i should of clarified why i had the screen replaced, and that another crack had appeard. With all the probs i have at the moment, i dont always think about what i post or what it sounds like.I have memory probs, problems speaking, and im under the hospital.. If i over reacted then i appologise, if i didnt explain things clearly, i appologise, I dont post as much anymore as i always seem to post the wrong thing. anyway....enough, i still aint removeing the posts, editing them or anything... the screeen suffered more damage after i bought the vehicle. group huggggggggggg....coz i sure as heck need one! :D -

I have not committed fraud. and what angers me, is that anyone could think that i could do such a thing, if i was going to commit fraud, had committed fraud, would i be so bloody stupid as to post it on a forum??, i may not have much, but i would never committ fraud.I have 4 kids to look after and the consequences of fraud would be catastrophic for me and my kids. there is nothing to hide here. Nik, this forum is over to you till i damn well calm down. -

sprry but you are wrong tiny, i have not committed fraud at all, the screen was damaged after i got it. If you notice the ebay add, there was only one crack, and i also put on this forum after i viewed the car that there was only one, monday morning i went out to the car and there was a crack on the right hand side in my line of sight about 3 inches long. I did tell my insurance that the screen had a crack when i bought it but that another had appeared, they were fine with that. the sentance you quoted was taken out of context, the guy from autoglass told me how much it cost for a new one, my insurance company pays 134 quid, i paid 70 quid. My car is parked on the side of a main road, lorries, etcc thunder past all the time. I have nothing to hide, nor will i remove this thread, my insurance company knew about the crack in the middle. It was the crack in my line of sight that appeared monday, and for that the previous owner can testify that it wasnt there when i bought it, also can the friend that came with me when i went to view and pick up the car. you have totally misquoted me.So the answer is no, i am NOT openly admitting to carrying out fraud as i have NOT committed fraud!!!, I have never had to claim for anything on my insurance, Not once, never in the 2 years i have held a full licence or the years previous on a provisional. -

Not me...the guy said if i pulled the catch hed bounce on it, and up it popped. Something to do with a spring? So to get it open, its a two man job so to speak., one to pull and one to bounce on the front. -
Must say, am pretty impressed!! Top trim was taken off, the screen had been replaced before and it really was a bodge job.The top trim was on upside down and a silicone sealant used under it which was put on in patches, hence why the screen leaked and rust under the glass. Previously when it had been replaced, the A pillar had been lifted for some reason and a load of cr@p out inside to try and keep it in place.. My friendly AutoGlass techy :P Explained every step he took, and what he was doing and why. Here he is, just finishing off. I have to say, i am very happy with the job.The glass used is slightly darker than the one that was on it, but thats ok as i prefer it.It has to stay sat for an hour, no car washes for 24 hours and guarenteed for as long as i have the car. All in all, it cost me 70 quid excess.better than the 200 odd quid if i was paying myself!

Should I Replace My Mkiii Due To Clutch Problem
mumof4 replied to dellybeanhead's topic in MKIII Technical section
well, first off he says he has a MKII, then at the end he says he has a MKIII, so i dunno if in wrong section or not??, till i know, i cant move it. oooo..you edited your post.lol -
Thanks Steve, will get round to them eventually.Today i had the lovely job of emptying the veccy ( jeeze, never knew i had soooo much carp in it!), and removeing my all singing all dancing wang fangled stereo out of it and fitting it to the gal, took me an hour in total. Veccy is now gone, so touch wood the gal doesnt break down on me.lol

you ready for this?? LOL ok, 1. drivers door wont lock, but will unlock. When locking on drivers door, no doors lock, but unlocking on drivers door, all doors unlock. When locking on passenger door, all doors bar drivers lock, and they all unlock on passengers side. I lock the drivers door from the inside and scoot across and get out the passenger side then lock the car. 2. The door cards need sorting, someone obviously had a go at attempting to fix the lock problem and door card not back on properly and i can hear something loose inside the door, like a wire/connection. 3. Windscreen, crack in it.Not MOT failiure though. 4.fan belt? was replaced 6 months ago, but the car is very umm..loud on tickover, not normal sounding on tickover, like an additional noise. 5. She really doesnt like to go above 75mph, she kinda gets like a flat spot, when i have the accelerator flat to the floor at this speed, so i ease back on the lead foot and its like it kicks in again for a bit, then flattens again, i can get her to umm* cough* useing this method at a struggle. 6. passenger side visor, the clasp bit is broke that is attached to the roof. 7. Various scratches/dents need sorting out. 8. Bumpers need sorting out, reattaching properly. 9. Very flat sills need sorting and protecting to prevent further rusting. 10. When i accelerate in either 4/5th gear, it sounds like there is a fan that comes on under the bonnet, passenger side, it stops if i take foot off the accelerator. Not hindering the performance at all 11.Her top speed on the dash, is only 120mph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jeeze.Slow.LOL. 12. thats it i think.LOL 13, forgot.Reversing lights aint working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All in all, she runs pretty good and by god its soooo good to hear the engine of a diesel gal once again, bliss.Love it!. The kids are happy, im happy with it, and i look forward to sorting it all out,
