is it remote locking you have? or just central?? as i just fixed my central locking with a kit from ebay as there was a piece broken on the lock 15 quid and 20 mins work

sounds like youve got some broken wires.

you can dry the box out..if its corroded though, then it may not be salvageable.

You can deadlock it from the inside, push the drivers door handle in from the inside and it should lock all doors and hence lock the car.Its how i had to lock my car till i got the locking sorted out.

Hi new member, also things good so far here ..well, apart from no reverse lights, a brake light out, a door card still to put back on, brakes squeeling, new tyres needed, tailgate lock that needs fixing, a seat that needs repairing..ummm..... oh, wiring needs redoing as got a few broken in the tailgate gaitor, ummm....think thats it.Oh , a winch to find for the spare wheel.Yup....thats it so far.. ;) :) oh and welcome :D
