believe me..i spend most of the year collecting stuff specifically for the summer hols...i have boxes of stuff in the garage.lol.

dont bother taking any for recycling..you will need it all over the next 6 weeks! with kids..keeping them amused you have to think like a kid!..easy..i do it thats why my kids think im nuts.lol. what you can also do..which can be spectacular in results..is gather together any old bits and bobs no longer required..boxes..yoghurt pots..a few tea bags..(unused).....buttons....scraps of material..foil..etc.......lump the lot on the table and see what the kids can think of to make!!..fun for you to do aswell. If you need any more ideas etcc..just let me know...im a whizz at keeping kids entertained.lol paintbrushes!!..i never bothered..cheap sponges or scourers do the trick..cut them into any shape you want!

ok..heres one i did with my kids..it is a lot of fun.. Cardboard cars.we got together some cardboard boxes from various shops..big enough for the kids to stand in..getting my drift yet??... we decorated the outside of the boxes to make em look like cars..wheels etc....then we each got in our cars and played dodgems!

wind chimes aswell. Dont forget good old paper mache fun!!

picniks in the front room. playing twister Play hide and seek Making dens out of duvets and chairs in the front room or kids room Painting baking/make their own pizza making own playdough drawing hand painting veg and fruit painting chop the end off a carrott and place it in water..see if it grows greenery Get a tub, some sand..some gravel...small stones..lid from a jar(water in it) .some little plants from a garden centre...hey presto..home made indoor garden. these and more is what i do with my kids all the time. all you need is imagination..sit and look at what you have in the house that could be transformed into something else...remember what it was like to be a kid when we didnt watch telly but improvised!!..i do it all the time with me kids..sooo much fun. Oh and one more thing...turn off the telly and remember that clearing up can wait till the kids have gone to bed if needs be..as a good time at home playing games etc with them..is worth more than a holiday abroad somewhere.

I remember a website that i used to be a member of..have to try and remember my log in details and the website addy as its been a long time for me.. the box i have in the garage is full of unfinished pieces, all counted cross stitch.I have one that is 3 foot by 2 foot of a forest with butterflies...only needs about 5 hours more work then will be ready to be framed..ive been doing that one for years.lol. The box that all the kits are in aint small either.

Bakeing with my lot...loadsa fun..kitchen will look like bags of flour have been thrown in the air but its worth it.Also we play lots of games and we go out for walks.....mind..we do this stuff all the time anyway so no different really.

I dont have a disc hun, but i will have a search for you as there are free programs out there for this. In fact..i think i do have a program....though i think its in a box in the garage..will search the net first then if no luck will dig in the garage.

right. Couldnt make it to kwikfit as i didnt want to risk the car in a nice big puddle that is on the way to sleaford.so i popped into the local garage up the road which has a fairly good rep. He listened to the car and revved it and came up with this lovely lot Manifold Baffle plate or a bracket but more than likely a bracket. If it is the manifold..on my car..its not worth doing as would cost more than the car to sort out. It has got a new front pipe on it..told him it was a new cat.He does think more than likely a bracket.Otherwise he said she sounds fine! he did say to just take it back to the place where i got it from and tell them, if it is anything to do with the cat then i shouldnt have to pay as it should have a parts warrenty on it.Not that the place where i got it from told me that.

Which suggests the exhaust is hitting the bodywork. On your pics the downpipe looks close..... Only way to check is to get the car on a ramp, running and swing about on various parts of the cars exhaust and jiggle those heatshields. Someting the kwikfit guys will do glady....for free! You don't have to DIY all the time.... :angry2: Ok, will take it to kwikfit and see what they say umm...which one is the downpipe????? I DIY because lack o the purple stuff says i have to. :P

i checked the exhaust its not hitting the bodywork..the noise is most def coming from the cat area..but since ive had the car raised i cant duplicate the noise!

WEll i know where quick fit is....i think....but they only do brakes/exhausts and wheels i think.

if it is a ford stereo....ford should help you FOC....as on this forum it is our policy not to give out info on the forum..i know some members have resolved the issue via pm..but that is privately done.Hopefully a member will be along who will be able to help you...if you search, it may throw up some usefull info??
