  1. Yes, if possible, I'd like the edit button back. :)
  2. No offence! Any similarity with persons either real or fictional is entirely coincidental!
  3. Magic Touch (probably) = White Grease
  4. My tip - lubrication. (Now before you all start laughing, I mean, my tip for fitting the new glass is to lubricate the clips.) :16:
  5. 'Rat-tail' should be fine if the hole isn't too near the side wall. 80mm...? Well on a 215 that would be only 27 (ish)mm from the edge. To be honest, 'darn sarf' the labour cost is too high to justify repairs - cheaper to replace the tyre. Now c'mon someone, tell me I'm wrong and point out a tyre repairer near West London that can repair for less than half the price of a new tyre.
  6. Isn't your avatar doing a 'Galaxy Dance' MattJr?
  7. It might be gravitational. Or Tsunami. Otherwise, best post it in the technical forum.
  8. (Don't 'panda' to him.) I liked his old one, when he was being chased by a giant vole. Or something like that.
  9. ...but I can't find 225/45R18 on that chart. Where did you buy your 18's from? Can you post a pic? I was going to buy a package of 17's and tyres soon, but the 18's might look better.
  10. There's a useful chart here... http://www.dunlop.co.za/tyres_conversion.aspx
  11. If you're going to be a moderator, you'll need a more 'moderate' avatar. :)
  12. Of course it's got nothing to do with me, but that looks like a great list. (Also MattJr should have *loads* of time, as he's a student. :) )
  13. ...well not the C5 obviously (even less reliable than a Galaxy, I hear). I mean, the Citroen forum was working. They have this member, called Hatchet Head Harry (or something like that) who is a really naughty geezer. :)
  14. It was dead! Have we been spam botted again? (I do miss Susan, aged 18, from Singapore. She quite *brightened* up my day!) Citroen was working...
  15. Don't leave!!!! :)
  16. I recommend reporting this to insurance immediately - don't wait to see if he'll pay up. In a friend of mine's experience they don't, and will keep stringing you along until you give up.
  17. He's a *cheeky* VR6 alter-ego, you know!
  18. I *definitely* want one of those. Even more than the gangster bus...
  19. For info on GPS, see this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_positioning_system. I assume that the authorities could use either? As Katman said, how do they intend to catch illegals? Theft of number plates is already a problem around here...
  20. Cheers and good luck! :)
  21. It's really very good! A great day out. :)
  22. 6p connection fee......0845/0870 up to 600% more than standard BT rates...locked out of indirect carrier access.......yup..... guess someone needs some new glasses to read the small print..... Have you read my contract then? That's not what it says.
  23. Decent tyres with good tread depth will help. I agree with Seat Kid, the Conti SportContacts I have on my Audi A4 are excellent at resisting aquaplaning.
  24. AMEX keep sending me letters inviting me to 'join' fifteen years after I sued them.
  25. I'd recommend Netgear and Linksys - not Belkin (sorry MattJr.) as I had loads of trouble with Belkin. If you are *determined* to hardwire, try a Netgear RP614 - that's a DSL router that works with the free-standing NTL Broadband modem. Best price around
