Galaxy newbie

Would that be the fuel cut off solenoid. We checked for voltage there and was all ok, I was wondering if it could be that I haven't bled the diesel pump properly. I bought a hand pump and connected to the return pipe on the pump but when I pump it the ball doesn't reinflate as if something is stopping it. I also tried cracking the nuts that bolt the rigid lines to the injectors and cranking but no fuel. It wouldn't be because I haven't used the ecu from the new engine would it?

hi guys need some advice from the more experienced Have removed my old engine from my galaxy ( engine code 1z) and have fitted with a second hand engine (AHU) but have kept original ecu but diesel pump is from the new engine. Trouble is car is turning over but not attempting to start. Diesel pump is drawing fuel from tank but not sending out to the injectors. Would this be because the diesel pumps are coded and so it's an immobilized problem, not to sure how the galaxies work. ANY information you can give would be much appreciated. Thanks.

hi guys very new to the site and after some advice if possible. I kind of ran into galaxy ownership as a friend of ours had one and then engine gave up on them. They then asked if we would like it as we have our 3rd child due in 2 weeks. Anyway thought yeah give it a go (can't complain for free). Anyway got a recon engine and it's all fitted, electrically all wired up but I'm stuck on last few pipes. First is expansion tank pipe, the one below the filler cap, is this just an overflow if not where does it go? All the other pipes run from the pressure control valve(back of engine to left of expansion tank). Can anyone help a hopefully new galaxy owner finish my quest. Thanks in advance. Andy. Sorry forgot to mention it's a mk1 1996 1.9 tdi with an AHU lump. Thanks.
