  1. Nice.....any pics !
  2. I'm more surprised that they have concerts at Glenrothes!
  3. It still sounds like a dodgy relay. Try starting it and and the same time tap the relay ( can't remember if its 27 or 30 ). Most likely the relay is sticking or corroded.
  4. Must have...no ones complaining about their booster heaters not working.
  5. 17552 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Open or Short to Ground
  6. I take it from the time of your last post you have just finished digging a big hole in the garden. Don't worry no one will miss her for a while.
  7. Tempted as I am ! I will avoid stating the obvious......
  8. Hi Galaxian, welcome to the forum. Apologies for the ladies ( using the term at its loosest ) and there dirty minds. kev
  9. I thought the 130 was an ASZ engine code ?
  10. Get an 06 MK2 Ghia with all the trimmings for much less than 16,000. Vastly better equipped....... Plus it can tow a caravan..
  11. Expensive ! You can get a new one for
  12. I totally agree with turks.. last comments about Vag-com....it seems the best one to use.
  13. Not necessarily ! This would be remote locking.. It should however centrally lock either via using the key in the lock or by pushing in the locking lever in the door. Don't worry chuck, no one will nick it... ;)
  14. First time I've heard it called that.... :( I used to do that with a young "lady".....I take it you missed the "y" off.. :)
  15. Yep I have had 2 brand new diesel VW golfs and they have been the only car that I can reliably stall whilst changing up to 2nd. I now have a new diesel Focus and its just as bad, gutless at low revs ...have almost dies twice stalling at t-juncions. I now wheelspin most of the time when pulling away as i have the revs so high to avoid stalling. And the Focus diesels like hell when you turn the ignition off, although this may just be a fault with this individual car. Obviously these are company cars as I wouldn't waste my money on them.
  16. you could look here If you look at "sterp 2"....just to the left of Seatkid's beautifully manicured thumb you can see one of the little clips that holds the clock in place. It should just click back in ?
  17. As long as its not your big ends going .... :(
  18. Yep that will work fine. Remember to clear all existing fault codes the first time you use it as some could have been there for a while....and may be misleading. Then take notice of any new ones that come up. p.s. Do not play with the airbags !
  19. You been popping those little pink pills again Biscuit ?
  20. I think the problem is with these new diesel engines that have to be so "green". I can't see these new engines clocking up the 100,000's of miles that the old ones did. And apparently the gearboxes are pants as well. I can pull away and change through all the gears up to 5th in my old gal without touching the throttle at all.......you can't move at all in these new diesels without revving their backsides off.
  21. I think Gregers is right on this one, pet. Someone has had your central locking control unit away. Probably got very wet hence the rusty connections. I am sure these are available at a scrappy's. p.s. go in your mates car to the scrappy's.....they might get confused otherwise :(
  22. Dicky Switch ! Are you thinking nice thoughts when you press it...... :(
  23. Hi Mandychoccy, Welcome to the forum... :31: Watch out for the nutters on here though...
  24. Did I miss something ?
