Moved up about 18 months ago. Yeh got Vagcom, seems to be working ok on windows 7, should just be a case of resetting the flameout fault logs. I heard you were teaching mumof4 to fly ( never heard it called that before :rolleyes: ).

Does the rear heater blow hot ? If so it is a faulty flap motor on the front heater. If not then it is an engine/thermostat problem and not an aircon/heating problem.

Bet you the roof leaks......some of the windows don't open....some doors don't shut properly and the electrics are knackered. Or was that her new car ;)

Dave, when you get the code.....write it on the radio.....saves a lot of trouble. I am assuming Mirez has already helped you with this ( or will do ).

If you use Vagcom ( or similar ) it will tell you which sensor has a problem. It may not be the sensor itself it could be the ring on the driveshaft which is either broken, correded or just covered in carp ! The normal braking system is seperate from the ABS and will still function perfectly ( some may say better :unsure: ) without it, especially in icy weather......my personal opinion....bloody hate ABS. However as mentioned it is an MOT failure if your light is on......and hence no ABS.

Didn't know you could get these on the Mk2's Thought you needed the digital clock, second battery etc.
