do you need the sequence to programme the remote keys----------------let us know how you get on,,,,,,,,,I am very tempted to buy the item you got from ebay-------but I do not have the red key

KEY REPROGRAMMING Up to 98 -----Insert the RED master key intp the ignition switch and turn to position II. When the led illuminates, turn the key to position O and remove the key. -----Check the led goes off and then illuminates again for two seconds. The system is now in the programming mode for ten seconds. -----Insert the slave key to be programmed and turn to position II. the led will fdlash once to indicate that the has been programmed. Turn the key to position O and remove the key. -----To programme additional keys it is necessary to re-insert the red master key and restart this procedure..... Good Luck

How long did it take to change the batteries,,,,,,,The correct way taken from the owners handbook, 1. Put key in drivers door turn to unlock 3 times holding the key in the unlock position for 1/2 second on each turn, 2. then take key out of lock, point it towards the rear veiw mirror and press and hold down the unlock button then press the lock button 3 times, then let go of the buttons,and the key l.e.d will flash five times, The little l.e.d on the door will flash 5 times if successfull, if it does not flash (stays on continues) it was unsuccessfull, all remote keys must be programmed within 15 seconds of each other. using the method at no 2 hope this helps :o

My display for heating flashes as well,,,,, is there a set amount of flashes to count for a fault code,,,,,if so does any one know what they are,,,, :angry:

You should consider yourself lucky that it squirts water on rear window,,,,,,,it usually dumps water in the storage area under the front passenger seat :angry:

very easy to remove the switch, its on a baynot fitting like a light bulb,,,,,,when i done mine i had to remove the lower dash facia under the steering wheel,,,,,20mins in total for full repair.... :lol:

Dont know much about the manual as I drive an auto,,,,,,but with previous manual cars,,,,,, it sounds like your clutch needs adjusted,,,,,if it is cable then should easy to adjust,,,,,if its hydrulic may need bleeding and/or a fluid change

I replaced the manual windows in an volvo for electric windows,,,,,,,I replaced the whole lot easy way to do it, if you can get the rear door cards as well,,,,,when you remove the winder handle it leaves an ugly hole in the door card

I drive a 98 model and the plug you mentioned is in the rear passanger storage area, have a good look about as many posts stated it was hidden, I found mine first look, covered with a piece of foam and cable ty,,,,,,,,,, very easy to wire,,,, I tow a 420kg boat plus all the gear and It tows great,,,,,,,,,,Auto for fuel about 22 around town and about 28 on a run (my run is a mix of motorway and town roads)
