You could try and remove the cable at the pull handle part,,,,then grip the cable end in some pliers and give it a good pull,,,,,,last resort would be to break the grill off,,,and try to open the catch with a screwdriver or some thing like that,,,,,,good luck

That sounds great,,,,and I think the 6*9 would be enough for me,,,,did you have to strenthen the tail door card,,,,

To be Honest,,,I have never seen the clamps,,,,but I am going to assume they are u shaped sections of metal that the glass sits in,,,,,maybe they need a little squeeze to tightin them up so they grip the glass better,,,,but I would stick ( no pun intended) a little glue in anyway ;)

I am sure that on previous posts you need vag-com to activate the dash indicator

It might help if you bought a torx driver set,,,((like screwdrivers)),,,,rather than a torx bit and ext bar,,,,almost all the screws are torx heads

I had this kind of noise on a volvo after the door glass was broken,,,,found a tiny piece of glass in the rubber

Dont know about the noise it made,,,,,but I looks like a faulty ignition switch,,,,should be reasonably easy to replace,,,,

And eurocarparts sell them

Hi guys,,,,,,,UPDATE,,,,,got the cable,,,,got the free software from rosstech,,,,plugged it in,,,,,bingo it works,,,,,,most of the functions in the software are disabled until I register and pay for the use of the software,,,,but I got the fault code for the ABS,,(front left not working),,,,,me a happy bunny,,,, :unsure: :( :D
