  1. Martin, are you sure? The vacuum pipe for the turbo goes from the solenoid down the turbocharger induction pipe and onto the turbocharger. ELSAWIN only has the one vacuum pipe/solenoid diagram that covers both of the non-PD engines and it is the same as the one above. 1. Air cleaner 2. Hose ◆ Black 3. Vacuum reservoir ◆ Fitting location: Behind coolant expansion tank 4. Hose ◆ Black, yellow 5. Retainer 6. Rubber bush 7. Solenoid valve for charge pressure control (N75) ◆ Fitting location: On bulkhead 8. Nut 10 Nm 9. Hose ◆ Black 10. Non-return valve 11. To vacuum supply 12. Pressure unit ◆ For charge pressure control 13. Hose ◆ Black, yellow 14. Turbocharger
  2. I think the person who suggested it is on another planet.
  3. Perhaps his valentine made him an offer he could not refuse?
  4. How do you stop your girlfriend from giving you blow-jobs whenever she gets the chance? Marry her!
  5. sniggers quietly....
  6. Hmmmm ^^^^^^^^^^
  7. March 20th is a red letter day. Tell your partners how important it is. If they need to know why tell them to search on Google for "March 20th"
  8. Standard, I got one from a motor factors.
  9. You forgot greasing the nipples.
  10. If we have a whip-round and buy her a Platinum Rabbit we might never hear from her again. Which would be a shame.... :( Well she might come back when the batteries went flat.
  11. Where are you located?
  12. I have been led to believe that if you don't ask for the old one back they retain it and send it off for refubishment. And the first thing the refurbishers do is change the glow plug.....
  13. Not calipers, no. You should change disks or pads as pairs in my opinion though.
  14. They most likely put the battery leads back on with the ignition on and that is what will have frazzed your immobilizer.
  15. The splines are prone to siezing and it is a simple job to fix too. Do a search and you should find instructions.
  16. The pistons do turn back in. They turn out to keep the pads in close to the disks so the handbreak will work. But my money is on the cable being seized on that side. The handbrake cables are a front section, middle section and two rears, one to each side from a central pull. Remove the non-working side and make sure it slides freely in the sleeve.
  17. Aye, your quite correct, if it is a Sharan then the engine will talk to VAG-COM. I don't know if the Lamba Sensor data is available though, but I can not see why not.
  18. For the same reasons it could be a bad battery that is not giving 100% when cold. But then the dealer says the battery is fine, so my suggestion was passed off. Although I still think the dealer was wrong...
  19. Not on a Ford engined it won't.
  20. Information Technology (sad geek yes, but it was the first thing that came into my head)
