Even if we dont have time to go away for a weekend we take them to sleep in the caravan in the garden and to them (6years and 4 years) that is a holiday. ouch......... I had a peugeot a few years ago that had a fuse heating and blowing it was to late for it cause it went on fire but it was the battery box rubbing on the wiring loom that was the cause so beware and get it checked out Mary :lol:

Hi I have a Bailey its a 4 berth and 10 years old but its in pristine condition. When buying check out for damp. If you go into a caravan and there is an airfreshner then best to avoid that van as its probably been put there to mask damp smell. The handles at the back beware the outer shell is not cracked around there and if you buy from a dealer you will get it serviced and probably a warranty to. Get the dealer to fit it up to the mains, gas and water and check it all out befor you buy to just to make sure everything works. Hope this is of some help Mary :lol:

If you are buying it then I would have thought you would change the whole engine otherwise the warranty would be void.

Hi This engine should fit. You will probably dicover that there might be a few minor adjustments needed but nothing to major. Once you have stripped it down you will discover that its basically the same. Because my Sharan has so much miles on (240.000) it we have already got on standby a Seat Toledo 1.9TDi engine (just in case) Its the same. Fingers crossed we wont need it but it was going cheap so thought we could keep it as a spare. Mary
