my 97 alhambra tdi did have a varta 95ah , 450 amp battery on it and ive been to get an exact replacement by a few shops , but my local shop said it only lists a 75ah , 660 amp battery which is a bit smaller then the old one , does anyone know which one is correct for a 1997 tdi ahu engined alhambra please

this will sound strange but my battery went flat and when i came to jump start it the double central locking and the alarm that had stopped working started working again , i ended up putting a new battery on the motor anyway and when i come to start the car the hazzards were flashing and the rev counter and speedo went right round and back is this normal for a battery swap , i couldnt turn the hazzards off it must have been an allarm thing.

my door is dinted beyond repair im after the cheapest option and thats just to swap the door for the same coloured door if anyone has got one please let me know , thanks 07833986333

hi ive just bought a iso lead for my seat alhambra and taken the ford 2007 out of the car to upgrade and put my kenwood in noe the lead ive bought is a pc9 403 and its got all the correct plugs but i can only have either front speakers or the rears on because the iso lead has 2 rca outputs and my kenwood only has 1 set what is the best thing to do , is it just a case of buying a new headunit with 2 sets of rca;s?????

hi ive just come to put my heated front seat on in my alhambra 97 and it dont work , the passenger front seat works fine when i turn the passenger seat on you can see the dash light slightly dimm but theres nothing when i turn the drivers seat on , now i could really do with this working is there any quick fix , thanks

whats happened to all the fuel protesters , they saw red when the prices hit 89.9 for diesel a few years ago , so why arnt they doing anything about it now , im pig sick of paying through the nose for this gold juice diesel mix like in my other thread ive found a biodeisel station for 90ppl but its still a rip off lets be honest and for more it WILL be going up again soon along with the tax , and were the mugs for keep putting up with it , somthing needs to be done asap but what , there making us get into smaller cars while we are still paying for them to run there jags and rangerover to and fro from pointless meetings , what are you ideas i for one am avoiding all the main top profiting garages like bp, total , esso , texaco , also sainsburys , im sticking to morrisons, tescos :D :(

ive found a bio diesel supplyer that sells diesel to the public for 90ppl its on newhall road near the don valley stadium , type in bio diesel sheffield into google and you will see , im off there tommorow to fill up as im fed up of paying for rip rip rip rip offfffffff fuel :(

just noticed now that it will unlock all doors from the passenger door but will not lock all it just locks the 1 passenger door but not the other 3 , i have to losk from the drivers side

hi my wife has been using my 97 alhambra and ive noticed when i have come home from work in my other car the doors on the alhambra have been open and told her off for not locking it , but now ive noticed that the red led doesnt flash on the drivers door when it is locked and it doesnt go into double lock at all , the central locking wont work from either the passenger door or the boot lock as it did before it will only lock from the drivers door,,,,, also the only time the led lights is when i turn the ign on , what could be up here <_<and no the locking module under the seat is not wet

yes on mine 1 is red and the other blue , it looks a job and half to do the job as there right behind the engine , as they are desarate ill have to get the old hands dirty before cornwall trip this june

hi i used to run my pajero on half and half mix of veggie oil and derv , is anyone using it in there gals alhams or shazzez , as it would be lot cheaper for me to buy than gordon browns rip of pocket linning diesel :)

ive a 97 sharan tdi and im getting a complex starting it a work in front of my work mates as when i turn the key it starts fine but as the starter motor is dis engaging it makes a very loud screeming noise , my neighbour has a s reg 2.0 petrol model and his does the same but not as bad as mine , is there anthing i can do to stop it making the noise........

hi ive just bought a new tensioner spring a new belt well all 3 belts and fitted them to my ahu tdi alhambra and when i start the car and look at the big middle belt under the front drivers side wheel side the belt seems to be juddering and wobbeling around all over , only when i put the a/c on it seems to calm dowm , what could this be , the tensioner is going back and forward aswell (wobbling) :)

yes the light ring is in ok but the controll 1234 switch is visible at night but not like the other 2 , a bad design , i just thought there was another light hidden away. does the heater controls on the roof light up at night as mine doesnt???????

hi ive just stripped my heater controls down on my 96 alhambra to change the lamp behind it , ive done that but at night it seems to only light the centre and the right hand knobs up , is there another lamp hiden away somwhere that i should be aware of , the ac and recirc lamps work ok , its just the 1234 control knob that doesnt light up :ph34r:

found it and now disconnected , thanks no more alarm going off for me , he he :wacko:

my remote doesnt work so i have to lock the car with the key and the dead locks come on every time i turn the key to the rear of the car , how do i lock the car without putting the alarm/dead locks on??
