I drive an ugly urine coloured volvo WELL BAD LUCK! Theres not a lot we can do for you, we recomend contacting a help group, some of these are abe to help you in more ways that one! take SAGA for example, cheaper insurance for the blind and incontinent driver that spends the majority of their time on the road doing 50mph in the middle lane of the motorway in total disregaurd for other road users wether they are dragging a plastic shed or not you could also try spec savers they do a wonderfull two for one offer! you could get a pair especially for driving and leave them at home when you go out in the car, just remember to mutter sorry mate I didnt see you to anyone you pull out on or hit or knock down on the zebra crossing and then promptly mess your pants and babble on and on about how the germans ruined your life and took away the best years of your life in a prison camp just outside berlin hope these suggestion go to help you in some small way? :16:

easy option insert the splitter into the back of the radio direct then power the amp with the neccesary adaptor you use when you fit a non oe head unit, that way you get the rds signal and still power the amp oh and what sat nav you using?

well, yes to be honest! the pin in the knee is possibly the cause of the pain I'm feeling in my left knee, or it could just be the 30+ miles I cycled off road over the last couple of days taking it toll? or the tree I slammed into? or the bridge supports on the river crossing I clipped at speed? ....we'll never know?

Best Way To Siphen Petrol Out Of My Sharan
mk2vr6 replied to jamesey's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
filler pipe has an anti siphon (also spelled syphon) device fitted, easiest way is to remove middle row seats peel back the carpet/sound proofing and gain access to the tank via the inspection hatch in the floor behind the drivers seat and then syphon the fuel out, if you look through the dumb arse TDI owners thread about filling up with petrol you'll find several pointers on the subject  -
Vw Sharan 1.8 T Gearbox
mk2vr6 replied to jamesey's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
well get a bigger white stick and swing it about a bit more  as for the 2.3 V5 it was never in the Sharan only in the Golf and Passat for a brief while -
your going about this arse about face! why are you diving straight into the fuse board when you have yet to narrow down the root of the problem? its way easier to isolate the possible source of the problem and remove that from the circuit in question than strip down the fuse panel and still be none the wiser to the actuall fault! you seem so sure the front screen is the problem? why not just start there and work your way back to the fuse board? the connections are up behind the trim panels on the A posts either side of the screen, the ground terminal is above the rear veiw mirror, the rear screen is a known cause of problem due to the wires flexing as are the door looms which contain the cables for the heated mirror feeds! which you've over looked  as well as the heated washer jets! again on the same circuit!
