iirc under the sale of goods act,you have 28 days to list all faults and report them to the suppling dealer and ask them to rectify,they will no doubt try to get you to claim on the warranty(if 1 was issued)up to you if you want or refuse and say to them that they have to fix it,ie its not fit for purpose,and if theyve got any brains when you say to them you have seeked legal advice watch them buckle. phone up the relative peeps for advice they are very helpful.

iirc my compressor will not kick in with these low tempratures we are all having.turn on aircon to see if the clutch plate is spinning?

Thanks, as a new member that bit of advice has just saved me a tidy sum.If only I had joined this forum before it would have saved me a lot of time taking out the wipers and greasing them. Funny thing is ,although this is working my dashboard lights have suddenly stopped any ideas ! you havnt knocked the wheel(dimming wheel)by your right knee have you??

check the wires in the rear door,there known to break/fray.

what are the problems you are suffereing from with the air-con? has the pump siezed up? does the clucth work? i bought an air-con pump from ebay(look at vw sharan/seat alhambra as well)but you have to make sure that they have the same part numbers. oh and welcome to the forum,darren.

demister might be a fuse???or has it had a new screen fitted and the wires not reconnected?? cruise control,well theres plenty of info on here about it.do a search and check the basic things,if still not working then it depends on the size of your wallet. rear screen washer,recheck the pipe,and see if there is a blockage?

well it seems a lot better now,i pmd admin on the picasso site as i got no response from the admin on here and joe thinks glen was doing upgrades on his sites???because they too are suffering the same problems, mirez no doubt it has cost us members from the problems suffered.

im thinking even if yu do find the location of the thermostat it wont be any better,i know when my booster was fubared it took an absolute age to move the needle on the gauge,read up on the booster heaters then your understand from the posts how efficient the tdis are.
