  10. no probs newgas, its a very common problem along with a host of others that us shalaxy owners have to contend with, hence why this forum is here(THANK THE LORD)vast amount of knowledge here, that has saved me and others a fortune.
  11. did you buy this from a dealer or was it a private sale??? if dealer(fingers crossed for you)then take it back and throw keys at them.as you have forund IT could end up being an expensive fix????
  12. 140 large ones,couldve done it yourself m8 lol.
  13. and again. good luck with the sale, not that you need it really.
  14. sounds to me that you need to investigate all the wiring between doors and door pillars(inside the rubber boots). just an idea check under the passenger floor to see if there is any water? also check to see if your scuttle drains are blocked?if so perhaps water is dripping onto the fuse board?
  15. ill be very gentle with you ;) ;) ,SHOULDVE GOT A TDI if you wanted really good mpg. does it not have the correct sat nav cd supplied?if not ring the dealer up and tell them to get 1 for you pronto, and make sure its free, and if what you say that the cd player aint working correctly get them to mend that aswell. cant believe a dealer would sell a car and not explain how to work the gizmos on it???
  16. alan, have you looked in the friday ad m8, im sure there is someone/firm breaking our types of cars.
  17. i may be wrong but is this the run on pump your talking about?if so then read up on how to mend it.i and many others here have successfully carried out this fix,for nowt really, only costs your time, ;) ;) http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.ph...amp;#entry97935

  19. look in faqs the tech section on how to turn service light off, why do you need to change glow plugs???not on a service surley not? have you any receipts of any servicing being carried out on it before? there is a thread on here where the general consensus was that the fuel filter did not require replacement on every service.
  20. oh goody an auction, only 2 kids, ive got 3,YOU CAN HAVE THEM. ;) ;)
  21. i was quoted about
  22. i would 1st check the wires in the rubber boots, reading your posts it sounds as if the motors are working but not correctly.look in the faqs in the tech section and read up on repairing the wires.
