Acronis True image (vs10 home) is an alternaive to Ghost (was ok as powerquest DI but now is Norton - will not have any of their software on my machines anymore. They used to be good in the days of DOS - NDD and NU but they even need to give their software away nowadays (see P*ssy world and Dell). Ps I know some peeps have no trouble with norton ... but if you do unistallation is a nightmare and talking about slowing your machine down !!!!!

wonder if a deteriorating MAF (4 years old +40K) will start to affect the mpg before performance - it certainly affects performance and mpg in the latter stages of its life. Try and find a 10 mile run set the Cruise control at 50-55mph and see what Mpg you get. If you want to throw some money at it I would change the MAF(yoursrelf - simple job see the FAQ - cost about

Coding A Sharan Remote Key Fob
NikpV replied to dfh101's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
If you don't have a 'RED' key (post 1997 system) depends what you mean by re-program All keys need the Pats programming but you must have 2 coded to code the other 2 Remote keys also need programming to the CL system (GEM) (all remotes must be done at the same time because of the rolling encryption) If You have the 'RED' key IIRC (Earlier system) Use red key to PATS program the non-coded ones not sure how to program IrD remotes -

I don't think the changes are that dramatic - the forum is certainly as lively today as it was in 2003 when I joined - in fact it is much livelier I don't know the exact post counts/day across the years but I think it is greater now - there was little of the banter we get now. Many of the technical questions have had answers and the wealth of knowledge is being used. Some ppl are always upset by change - Gregers and others made this point in live chat the other week as Glen says if peeps are going to be upset by such lttle changes then the forum may be in danger of disappearing - I doubt it will happen. Life changes do play a large part in this - for personal reasons there was a 6 month period when I didn't visit the site (wolfie stop cheering). I'm not sure that we are going though a particularly quiet period, just becausevyou haven't seen a post from some one for a while there are others posing their questions Perhaps we should get rid of the FAQ more questions would the be asked given that the search is difficult to use.
